  • Finished up this mural for @kenton_hotel this week! 🎉🎉 They are turning around an old space that needs some TLC❤️ Kenton is a super cute neighborhood in NE Portland and this project is going to bring a lot more love and energy to the area🌞 They are supporting local artists by giving each of us a guest room to paint a mural of a local Oregon scene🤩 a bed will go in front of this, but you’ll feel like you’re laying in a field of wildflowers in front of Crater Lake! 🌲🌸🌸💆🏻‍♀️🌸🌸🌲 I’m so excited to see all the finished rooms!!   • It feels good to do hard things. At this time last year I was a mess of stress- throwing all my energy at creating 46 unique macrame pieces for @surfhotelbv while wedding planning. It was rough and not a season I’d want to repeat. But spending the last two days in BV checking up on these pieces reminded me of my tenacity. . . If my art-degree holding, naive, college-graduate self could see me now-I’d be proud. All I ever wanted at that age was to have a family and do something creative and God has given me both. I’m so grateful to be here. #thankyougod It feels good to do hard things.
