I love the image much because it depicts the whole process of making money and what you can choose to do with it.

Follow me below:

1. You work for money and/ or make your money work for you to produce Cashflow.
2. You can do one/all of 4 things with your Cashflow.
Spend it
Hold It
Donate it
Invest it

3. If you choose to invest it; you either do so passively or actively by lending it out or owning it.

Passively
When you buy bonds, treasury bills etc, you are lending your money to others to work with it on your behalf
When you buy shares, you own it even though someone is working with your money on your behalf.

Actively
Investing in a business, real estate or lending options are active ways of investing your funds actively.

4. All of the above translate to Returns
_

Doesn't it sound simple enough?
Which of these investment options do you currently have?
.
Now tag your friends who might need to read it.

  • My previous post I spoke about the importance of self-reflection for our personal growth.
•
This morning I want to share two exercises for you to try for yourself.
•
Self-reflection is a powerful thing. To create a time to be mindful of your surrounding, your goals, your passion even as simple as your breath, will help center you and bring everything that is misplaced back into perspective. It also helps you to mediate your actions, you character & motives.
•
Self-reflection help you to take a healthy step back and consider your life, what you want from it and for your your life & what is important to you.
•
In order for us to move forward and grow, we need to #FINDTIME to invest in ourselves, otherwise from my experience I find I have ended up repeating the same things that I didn’t like and doing jobs that brought no joy or value to my life.
•
Here are two things I want you to self-reflect on:
1) Be honest with yourself/ non-judgmental. (In order to truly make this step effective you have to be honest with yourself about where you currently are in life and how you feel and see things are currently going. Don’t be too hard on yourself if it’s not as you hope yet, with time you WILL get there)
2) Discover your core value (by taking time to truly think about what you are passionate about, what is important to you, you can see if your goals #align with your core value).
•
I encourage you to invest in yourself this year and take a few minutes out of your day of solving problems, finding solutions, being the strong person for others, juggling so many tasks and responsibilities and just spend time with YOURSELF to remember what you want so you can clearly see the different ways of getting there.
•
But first, it starts with you self-reflecting.

I would love to know how it’s going for you. So comment below or DM me.
