Kampot was my first destination on mainland Cambodia. With its centre being nothing more than a handful of streets and a riverside boulevard, there was still more than enough to amuse myself for a couple of days. Cute cafes (@epicartscafe_cambodia@espressokampot) and shops (@dorsu_cambodia) doing a great job empowering the community, a lovely art gallery (@kampotartgallery) and as mentioned in my former post, the countryside is your place to go if you want to experience local life at its best!
The truth is, I’m a pedestrian roadblock like 80% of the time when I’m in Europe because I’m either too busy taking pictures of the buildings or just staring at all the details 😍 This also means my friends spend a bunch of time waiting for me to catch up to them🏃🏻♀️
There’s something so exhilarating when you come to the realization that you can honestly do whatever you want.
If you wanna buy a concert ticket last minute, you can just go.
If you want to drink wine and eat guacamole for dinner, you can.
If you want to pack your bags and get away for a weekend, you can just go.
Seriously, speak that sh*t into existence and make it happen.
On that note, I’m booking trips to Bali. Comment 🏝if you’re trying to run away with me.
