If you feel like you are at your worst right now, there will be so much more good coming your way.
If you are feeling like you are at your best right now, that's great! Make it even better - do what you love, compliment people - including yourself!, take up a new hobby, indulge a little, work hard, play harder.
If you are feeling like you could be better, could be worse - aim for better. Focus on better. Focusing on what could go wrong is a surefire way to make the good seem like an impossible goal.
A lot of people have a weight loss resolution, but as soon as they don’t see the results they get discouraged, they loose their motivation 😔.
Yesterday I was asked if behavior is only temporary, then how do you keep the constant motivation to make a behavior a habit.... well it’s the constant repetition of doing something for 21 days and really getting emotionally involved with the goal.
So back to my first point choose an exercise program that you enjoy and make it a habit to go on a consistent basis.

TLDR:: I REFUSE to let my girls give up on themselves and their strength. .
I had a heart to heart with my 12 ladies today. Out of 30 6th grade kids that train with me Mondays and Wednesdays TWELVE of them are girls. Want to guess how many there are in the 7th/8th grade group? ONE. From last year (when there were 10) to this year, ONE GIRL STAYED. I cannot let that happen to my girls. SO, today we talked about how they're not strong for girls, they're just strong. We talked about how people aren't going to get why they want to lift weights, but it's what sets them apart and makes them better athletes. I was fighting tears the whole time when I have them these stickers to have as a badge of honor. There may be days that they will give up on themselves, but I will always be there to push them.

Yesterday I witnessed my friend come home with her son and she said to him, “Ben* when you were leaving just now there was this girl calling out to you but I guess you didn’t hear her and she felt really horrible.” To which Ben* replied, “who was she? I did not hear her.” My friend continued, “I know you didn’t hear her sweetie, but you have got to be more alert next time because she felt really bad.” .
Neither I nor my friend could have predicted that Ben would take this news so hard. The young boy rushed from the kitchen and upstairs to his bedroom crying and yelling, “don’t tell me about something if I can’t fix it because now I’m going to feel bad.” .
You can’t very well fix something that you do not know exists, can you? We all know what the word procrastination means and a lot of people speak out against it, but how do they truly get the message across to you if you don’t even know that you have this problem? How can you fix it? .
There are levels to procrastination and there are levels to correcting this defective personality trait.

I saw a bumper sticker once that sums it up “if you ignore your health, it will go away”.
It’s the only one you have. You know more about it than anyone else, after all you’ve lived in it for as long as you are old. Pain is happening to get your attention. It is letting you know help is needed.
This is when you want to ask yourself basic questions to take care of what you need.
