Couldn’t believe it! Today while detecting with my step dad I stumbled across a suspicious patch of discolored dirt behind an 1800s mansion. Just 2 feet down we pulled some 1890s medicines! We didn’t even finish digging the area and will definitely be going back hopefully find some rare Utah bottles! I have never came across bottles this old so I’m super excited to head back! I did find a 1956 dime detecting but then got side tracked by this! #bottledigging#history#metaldetecting#outdoors#hunting
Old vs. New! If only a pair of old boots could tell a story. The pair on the left I have had for nearly 8 years, they have seen countless miles worn almost every day; hiking in the mountains and around town. I've replaced the laces and re-glued the soles I dont know how many times. Those pair of boots took me so many places; it's time for them to be retired. My new boots already have a hell of and adventure in store for them in May. A trip of a lifetime in the back country of the Southern Alps in New Zealand. #huntingbc#hunting#hanwag#alaskangtx#trappertopgtx#bcbha
Trophy and Sport hunting is the act of going out into the woods with the sole intent in causing an innocent animal immense pain and suffering and taking pictures with a bloody corpse to post and show your “skills” on social media. For some it ends there and the corpse is left to rot. Others may be decapitated for their head to be hung on a wall as decoration while the rest of their bodies are cut into little pieces to be cooked and the dead animal flesh is fed to family and friends while having casual dinner conversation. Does any of that sound like a sport? To human capable of feeling empathy and compassion this sounds like cold blooded murder! Hunting is not a sport! These animals are wild and free and deserve to stay that way. This goes for all acts of hunting including trophy hunting.
