  • Day 5: Springtime Succulent
#springintoplants

I bought this String of Pearls almost exactly one year ago when it was just an itty bitty baby barely spilling out of its inch wide nursery pot (swipe). I lucked out in finding a very forgiving one while I figured out how to best care for it. I remember misting it in the early days because I had read that they like more water than most succulents 🤦‍♀️ Since then I've found that it loves life in a bright east-facing window and only needs water once the pearls start to deflate. • I don’t know if this will help or be too much for you, but here’s how I’ve been using IG lately...
I’ve heard so many of your frustrations with algorithms and in particular, @countyroadliving talking about being hidden from view. It’s maddening how some get elevated while others are buried in the ethers. So here’s what I’ve done to make sure I see who I want to see and, quite frankly, when I’m in the mood to see them. ☕️ I use the bookmark feature to save my favorite accounts to a specific collection (swipe for examples.) That way, when I want to see what’s going on with my favorite #bookstagram accounts, I go to that collection to see what’s new with them and engage with them. Same for celebrities, or foodies, or faith-based, etc. It helps me make sure I’m not missing anyone - and it helps me focus on what I’m in the mood to see. ☕️Maybe everyone does this already but just in case - I thought I’d share my process. I have a lot of different kinds of interests and IG accounts I follow. This has been very helpful for me. ☕️ Have an awesome Sunday, dearies!!! And while we’re at it, here’s to #succulentsunday 🌿 I don’t know if this will help or be too much for you, but here’s how I’ve been using IG lately...
