Finally completed just before Christmas. (I confess I got a little side tracked with the Polar Bear and Penguin story which was great fun). So here he is in all his glory! I've lost count of the hours it took. If anyone wants a print let me know! 😁. @peggyhortonprice...coming your way!
@lorisavingwild thanks for the photo!
People ask me “why do you do what you do?” This is the reason why I do what I do. Do what makes you a better person. If He can move mountains for me, then damn it, I’m gonna climb over them, run over them, and run thru my problems, cuz He’s got my back. I may struggle with life’s issues, and I may be more emotional at times than I want to be, but that’s how He made me, and I accept it. I must endure, for my family, my friends, and for anyone who is going thru the same stuff I am. Keep the good fight going people. We are all in this together. Stay up! Be blessed!!
“I will sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted.
Both horse and driver he has hurled into the sea. “The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name.
Pharaoh’s chariots and his army he has hurled into the sea.
The best of Pharaoh’s officers are drowned in the Red Sea.
The deep waters have covered them; they sank to the depths like a stone.
Your right hand, Lord, was majestic in power.
Your right hand, Lord, shattered the enemy.
“In the greatness of your majesty you threw down those who opposed you.
You unleashed your burning anger; it consumed them like stubble.
By the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up.
The surging waters stood up like a wall; the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea. The enemy boasted, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake them. I will divide the spoils;
I will gorge myself on them.
I will draw my sword and my hand will destroy them.’
But you blew with your breath, and the sea covered them.
They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
Who among the gods is like you, Lord?
Who is like you— majestic in holiness,
awesome in glory, working wonders?
“You stretch out your right hand, and the earth swallows your enemies.
In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed.
In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.
The nations will hear and tremble; anguish will grip the people of Philistia.
The chiefs of Edom will be terrified, the leaders of Moab will be seized with trembling,
the people of Canaan will melt away;
terror and dread will fall on them.
By the power of your arm they will be as still as a stone—
until your people pass by, Lord,
until the people you bought pass by.
You will bring them in and plant them on the mountain of your inheritance—
the place, Lord, you made for your dwelling,
the sanctuary, Lord, your hands established. “The Lord reigns for ever and ever.”

These are the very last words in the Bible, found in Revelation 22. I have the Charles F. Stanley Life Principles Bible. I love his commentary and explanations. He is a very clear speaker and author. Like in this Life Lessons part. He puts it to me with an expectation, an accountability. I treasure this Bible. “Is that what you’ve been busy doing?” and “Everything pales in comparison to this.” This is exactly why this man is my spiritual father. He has led me most of my life, whether by radio or internet broadcast. And this Bible has been such a force for me. “God’s Word is a lamp for my feet” and my fave verse, “for the grass withers and the flowers fade, but the Word of our God lasts forever.” How has God spoken to you? I mean, He gives us gifts and I believe those specifically have to do with, directly and indirectly, His Word and all of His commandments. I have the gifts of discernment and encouragement. See how they relate here to God’s Word and commandments? See how many ways He speaks to me and uses those gifts in my daily life? I try to share them with y’all here but there’s just no way I can share it all! And when others have these gifts, I feel a kinship with them. When I recognize the gifts of teaching, I know how to relate to the teacher as a student and encourager. How is God using your gifts in your life and those of the people around you? Do you know what your gifts are? All of us have gifts. Find what yours are, if you don’t already know. If you have a suspicion that you have a gift, but have never known for sure, you probably do. There is a test you can do to find out. Ask your pastor for it or look online for a reputable site and author. Ask a friend who you know reads his Bible and works to obey God and spread truth and has integrity. They can probably tell you at least a couple of your gifts just because they know you. He is coming. We don’t know when, but this I know: He is coming! So be diligent. Read your Bible. Listen for His whispers and watch for His working. Because He hasn’t stopped working. He is VERY BUSY! “If you seek me, you will find me when you seek me with all of your heart.” Just seek. I am amazed every single day at Him.
