Today was day 9! The last day in my 369 cleanse where I get to drink juices and as much blended melon (or papaya or orange juice) as I need. This is my favourite cleanse day, it’s surprising how nourishing and sustaining the juices and melon are. It’s also a pleasant surprise at how good I feel by the point and I always feel such a sense of achievement at the end of this cleanse. I won’t do round 6 until September now as summer gives way to family time, holiday trips and spontaneity but I know I will be feeling the benefits of this cleanse all the way until then. So, as I tuck my kids into bed, I know I’m not far behind. Time to rest and allow my body to do the last of its detoxing while I will be dreaming of my breakfast smoothie. My aim for this year is to have significantly improved the health of my liver. This was a silent New Years resolution that I hadn’t shared with anyone, but I feel well on my way and only half way through the year and from my experience, I can say that healing the liver has a profound ripple effect into all areas of my life. No wonder the liver rescue book is the biggest of the @medicalmedium series!

  • This is me 100% #makeupfree and #nofilter.
😁
A few years ago I wouldn't have been able to do this. Random breakouts, dull & swollen skin, and dark circles under my eyes. Even my hair was dry and difficult to style.
🌱
This is just the tip of the iceberg because for 13 years I suffered from IBS, chemical sensitivities, migraines, chronic headaches, chronic swollen throat, debilitating vertigo, deadening fatigue, insomnia, brain fog, night sweats, and anxiety. I couldn't put my best foot forward in my business or in my relationships.
💚
And in February of 2017, at the exact time I feared how much worse this would all get over the next 10 years, I read Anthony William's first book Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic & Mystery Illness & How to Finally Heal. It sounds too good to be true, right? It turned out to be 100% true because I began to HEAL. I finally began to move forward.
💃
Today I am so much better... I sleep throughout the night, I have the energy to hike and do yoga, I'm calmer & more grounded, my digestion is amazing, and my immune system strengthened. I am able to put my best self and my whole heart into my work and my relationships.
🌟
Because we all have special gifts that need to be shared with the world and this doesn't happen when we're chronically ill.
🌟
If you or your loved ones can relate to what I'm sharing with you, please visit my website (link in bio) or send me a DM because it IS possible for you, too. As a Food & Lifestyle Success Coach, I help those with chronic health challenges gain their lives back just as I have gained mine back.
🌱
And if you don't want to reach out to me personally, check out the Medical Medium series by Anthony William.

THIS! Most people are willing to take a pill to mask symptoms rather than make the lifestyle changes that treat the root cause of an issue. Why? Because it's "easier". Because their doctor told them to take the pills. Because their doctor didn't tell them they could find and treat the root cause. Because their doctor wasn't taught to find and treat the root cause of an illness. Because their doctor didn't tell them the pill would cause new symptoms over time that would require another pill. Because our healthcare system is F*@%ed up and isn't designed to actually make people better, it's about making them "feel" better. .

This morning’s liver rescue smoothie! Such a beautiful colour, which is one of the reasons why this smoothie is so healing for the liver. It’s day 7 of my fifth round of the Liver Rescue 369 cleanse. Although I know I will always incorporate cleansing into my life these days, I chose to do this round of the 369 now because I was feeling a little out of sync with my life, perhaps a little overwhelmed and not able to get around to everything I needed to. I had a restlessness and a slight fatigue too. While I still have 2 days remaining on this cleanse, I already feel so much better. I can’t put into words how eating this way addresses my ability to feel more in control in my life, although I do know that the liver is the body’s timekeeper, and I know that I LOVE the way I feel when I cleanse. It brings such clarity. This is the perfect Sunday morning for me!

  • Bet she didn’t think I’d be putting this beautiful picture of us on my feed 😂 Sunday morning swim with @sophiehellyer ⁣
⁣
Since coming back to London I’ve slept so horribly. Noise and light pollution is so real (plus the sun was up at 3.30am this morning and therefore so was I). I can always count on water to make me feel more alive. 🌊❣️
⁣
If there’s one thing I want to do with my Instagram account it’s inspire my followers to live a healthier life in balance with THEMSELVES, not with how Instagram makes them feel. ⁣
⁣
For me, swimming and being near water is a routine part of my life because it makes me feel like magic, 🦄 but if it doesn’t do it for you then I urge you to find something that does. ⁣
⁣
I know first hand that on any chronic healing journey the impact we can make on our physical health just by watching out for our mental health is HUGE. ⁣
⁣
Believe you can heal and slowly, you will. ⁣
⁣

  • ❂ ✧ ☼ rituals ☼ ✧ ❂
sacred space to open our hearts + connect with the Divine .
.
.
the more that I create a place for rituals in my life, the more I welcome in Divine guidance from the higher realms of light + love.

I have sensed my own resistance in creating time for this kind of connection with myself and the realms of light, but I remind myself that where there is resistance, there is yet another answer, another lesson. there is magic in what we resist ✨ so yesterday, inspired by the @astrotwins webinar, I set aside time to make my solstice wheel from some flowers and leaves I found in my garden and performed a simple but profound ritual.
the entire process brought me so much joy!

gathering the flowers and leaves, clearing space, choosing where to place each petal and stem, then filling in with shells and crystals (and this card that says “I am light”☀️ for the finishing touch). it was so fun to put together! and the rest of the ritual was the perfect way to bring the energy all together. (swipe to see the candle lit with the intention to bring in the energy of the sun and illuminate new possibilities! can you feel it’s power?!)
.
I’m actually still feeling the high vibes from my ritual yesterday! that goes to show how important rituals are for creating the vibrational frequency we need to bring our desires to life ✨ rituals can be simple and fun! they can be whatever you want them to be...if you prefer to gather with other people and set intentions together vs going solo, go for it! I personally love doing my own thing, but try both and see what feels best to you 💗 make time for this sacred connection to self and the Divine, whatever that means to you, and your energy will transform ✌️🌸🌿 ❂ ✧ ☼ rituals ☼ ✧ ❂ sacred space to open our hearts + connect with the Divine . . . the more that I create a place for rituals in my life, the more I welcome in Divine guidance from the higher realms of light + love. • I had not attended a concert since 2015 because the loud noise, bright lights, and body heat from others made symptoms so much worse. @alanis and @mountainwinery delivered a memorable and comfortable experience. #LymeDidntKillMyVibe It had been 14 years since my first @alanis concert and her songs still make me feel like everything’s gonna be fine, fine, fine. 🎶

This time around her song Thank U resonated more with me as I work on healing and being more accepting.

Posting the lyrics in case anyone is interested. There’s something so peaceful about the song. 🎶 🎼
How 'bout getting off of these antibiotics
How 'bout stopping eating when I'm full up
How 'bout them transparent dangling carrots
How 'bout that ever elusive kudo

Thank you India
Thank you terror
Thank you disillusionment
Thank you frailty
Thank you consequence
Thank you, thank you silence

How 'bout me not blaming you for everything
How 'bout me enjoying the moment for once
How 'bout how good it feels to finally forgive you
How 'bout grieving it all one at a time

Thank you India
Thank you terror
Thank you disillusionment
Thank you frailty
Thank you consequence
Thank you, thank you silence

The moment I let go of it
Was the moment I got more than I could handle
The moment I jumped off of it
Was the moment I touched down

How 'bout no longer being masochistic
How 'bout remembering your divinity
How 'bout unabashedly bawling your eyes out
How 'bout not equating death with stopping

Thank you India
Thank you Providence
Thank you disillusionment
Thank you nothingness
Thank you clarity
Thank you, thank you silence

  • |Day 19/29 Raw Cleanse|
.
This is my 3rd attempt of the @medicalmedium 28-Day Cleanse and let me tell y a, 3rd time is the charm 😉
.
The first time I tried it was way back in 2017 when I first discovered the Medical Medium info’s and after 5 days of the cleanse, I thought I was dying!! 🥴
.
I went from my usual diet which was pretty much Paleo back then to try eating raw for 28 days while withdrawing from using topical steroids for eczema!
.
Bad idea!!! 😆 For me anyways! Detox was way too intense! I even vomited one night, and my skin took a hit; it was unbearable!
.
Thankfully it was a huge lesson, I took some steps back and baby steps ever since 👶🏽
.
The 2nd time I tried it was this last Fall of 2018 and the longest I was able to do was 16 days eating raw only, but then on Day 17, I needed to slow down the cleanse with cooked veggies for dinner.
.
The more your cleanse, the more your intuition rise and the more you can listen to your body’s needs. It’s a beautiful thing! Truly!
.
This time around I know I will make it to 28 days and I am really feeling good! .
I felt tired the first part of the cleanse, now back to feeling energized even on Day 1 of my moon.
.
Overall I feel so much lighter, at all levels. Also digestion is on point and I am less thirsty at night as opposed to when I eat cooked potatoes and veggies for dinner.
.
It’s a great way to celebrate Summer Solstice 🥳🌸🌞🍉
.
Eating raw in the summer is so much easier!!
.
Happy Summer to you all 🧡
.
Pictured collard green wraps from our garden filled with raw sliced veggies. .
Apple, pear, date dip. Green juice and papaya cubes with fresh squeezed lime and fresh basil 😋

Also digestion is on point and I am less thirsty at night as opposed to when I eat cooked potatoes and veggies for dinner. . It’s a great way to celebrate Summer Solstice 🥳🌸🌞🍉 . Eating raw in the summer is so much easier!! . Happy Summer to you all 🧡 . Pictured collard green wraps from our garden filled with raw sliced veggies. . Apple, pear, date dip. Green juice and papaya cubes with fresh squeezed lime and fresh basil 😋 . Doing the cleanse with these beautiful peeps: @laurenhenryhealth @homegrownhealers @echota_is_healing @ashleysmaldino @pureearthkate . . . . #medicalmedium #mmtribe #28daycleanse #rawfood #healingchronicillness #medicalmediumlifestyle #plantbased #3rdtimesacharm #papaya #greenjuice #collardgreens #applesauce #babysteps
  • |Day 19/29 Raw Cleanse| . This is my 3rd attempt of the @medicalmedium 28-Day Cleanse and let me tell y a, 3rd time is the charm 😉 . • Mango curry - #rawvegan, #fatfree, and delicious. Recipe from @leavesandwanders. 🌱 This week has been a struggle with symptoms for me. I’m slogging through this week and feeling very down. But every day is an opportunity to keep trying, and I do try - even on the most difficult days when I haven’t slept, feel sick, and am riddled with anxiety - never to lose sight of my goal of living in a healthy body all the time. My down days are not an excuse to indulge in comfort foods or sweets, to give up on exercise and lie on the couch, or to do any destructive behavior that would keep me from getting to my goal. I have my moments of self-pity, for sure, but I try to let them pass and get right back to the business of healing myself. Because nobody is going to do it for me. It’s up to me to keep going. #peptalktomyself Mango curry - #rawvegan, #fatfree, and delicious. Recipe from @leavesandwanders. 🌱 This week has been a struggle with symptoms for me. | HEALING BENEFITS OF APRICOTS | Apricots are incredibly high in minerals and rich in beta carotene and are one of the most healing fruits you can eat. They are one of the best sources for organic iron and cobalt making them very beneficial for anemia, digestive disorders, and reproductive health. Apricots are highly beneficial for autoimmune disorders such as chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, asthma, lupus, colitis, IBS, and PCOS.
_
They are also wonderful for keeping the heart strong and healthy as well as being a powerful weight-loss agent. Apricot’s high concentration of beta carotene makes them an excellent food for disease prevention, especially lung, skin, and stomach illnesses. And they are very helpful in helping to regrow hair and improve the quality of your hair, skin, and nails.
_
Fresh apricots are always best, but when they are not available, dried apricots are a great alternative. Look for wild and/or organic varieties that do not have any preservatives such as sulfur dioxide. A handful of dried organic apricots each day is a fantastic snack that can help keep you energized and focused throughout the day.

  • I think healing has deconditioned me from dealing with pain. Does that even make sense? //
#postexertionalmalaise is a hallmark of #chronicfatigue . And I experienced it intensely yesterday. Being in NYC, I walked a ton - through the north part of Central Park to a coffee shop to do some work, home, and then back out for a drink with friends. //
The movement, the standing, and the constant rush of cars was too much for my immune system. I spent most of yesterday in pain and spent 4 hrs in bed and the detox bath. //
I’m frustrated bc I really don’t want NYC to be too much. I don’t want a normal life to be too much. I don’t want walking 3 miles to be too much - but it is right now. And yesterday, I had to rest. //
I feel like I should be used to taking zero days on vacation. I always have to pace myself - no matter where I am. But as I continue to heal - I find the down days frustrating and the pain crushing. I just cannot believe I dealt with it for so long and when I dip the toe back in, I’m shocked, horrified, and kinda a wimp about it now. //
@ashley_mersereau posted something similar yesterday. I agree so much with her stories - I took the zero day (I wouldn’t have in the past) - but I also was rocked by the pain and fatigue in a way I wouldn’t have been in the past.
//
The healing journey still feels so new and in someways unknown. I’m really glad there are some other people on it with me - and I can see my experiences reflected through this screen. It is such a wild ride and really different than the grin-and-bare-it, no-option-but-to-push depths of sickness, where the pain/fatigue was constant and the only option to live was to live through pain. //
The different stages of chronic illness - how wild! Someone should write a book... @no.end.in.sight.pod ? //

  • HEALING WARRIORS 💪🙏❤⁣
⁣
That's what we are. Every one of us. I am constantly amazed at our strength and determination in this healing journey. ⁣
⁣
Today is day 18 of @medicalmedium 's 28-day healing cleanse! I haven't felt very good the past few days. I've had some fatigue, headaches, light headedness, neck pain, bloating, grumpiness etc. I think the high amount of raw healing foods without cooked foods and fats to slow down the detox is definitely killing off some deep hidden parts of the viruses that have been in my body for years. Which is what I wanted! But it doesn't feel great. ⁣
⁣
Today I decided to add in half an avocado to my dinner to see if that would help slow down my detox symptoms a bit. That means I was fat free for 17 days! Two years ago when I first read @medicalmediums first book I never thought I could eat this way, not in a million years. I am incredibly proud of myself for how far I've come. Eating mainly animal products (because I thought they were healthy) to eating only raw fruits and vegetables. Wow. I guess anything is possible! ⁣
⁣
I am definitely looking forward to being done with this cleanse and eating some cooked vegetables and beans again 😄 BUT I am so glad that I decided to do this cleanse. I feel like I am reaching that next level of healing that I've been wanting for years! It feels so good to know I am doing everything I can to help my body heal💪🙌 ⁣
⁣
For those of you who are just starting there healing journey, be patient. It takes time, lots of time. Three steps forward, two steps back. Detox can sometimes feel unbearable, but you have to keep fighting. It's all worth it. You will get your life back. You will heal. You deserve to heal. Carry on healing warriors! Thank you all for being here in this community of love, inspiration, and support. I could never do it without you! ❤ ⁣
⁣
How are you feeling? Let's talk about it❤ 👋
