  • On days like today (super humid, rainy, bleh), I feel like nothing can tame my thick & wavy hair. My favorite hair products TRY their best to help, but nothing really seems to work. Oh well, I guess that is what hair ties are for😩

@verbproducts Dry Shampoo- I have a pretty sensitive scalp, so aerosol dry shampoos end up irritating it. I looked into buying a powder version, and stumbled on to Verb’s. I tried a bunch of their products before (ghost oil, shampoo, conditioner, & hair mask) but wasn’t a fan personally because silicones + my hair = a bad match. I loved their brand though so I decided to try this. Overall, I like it. It is super hard to get the hang of applying it to your scalp- I actually use a powder brush to apply it evenly, otherwise I get white patches in my super dark hair. It also has an awesome smell that isn’t too overpowering.💁🏻‍♀️ @lushcosmetics R&B Hair Moisturizer- Ugh this stuff. It is so wonderful. All you need is a pea sized amount to rub through damp hair and once it dries it is sooooo soft. It has an amazing smell too that isn’t overwhelming (kind of smells like earl grey tea). I also love that there are no silicones, the ingredients are vegan, and that a little goes a long way, which makes it worth the cost. If you have a Lush near you, definitely go get a sample to see if it works for you! 💫
@briogeo Farewell Frizz Leave-In Conditioning Spray- As far as controlling frizz goes, this has been one of the better products I have tried. It still doesn’t control my hair on super humid days though, but maybe if I used it in conjunction with a hair oil it would. I don’t like it as much as the Lush R&B though, so I don’t think I would repurchase. Plus, the scent is a bit too strong (luckily it fades after applying). 💦

What are your faves to tame frizzy hair?!💞 On days like today (super humid, rainy, bleh), I feel like nothing can tame my thick & wavy hair.
