LEGS AND CHEST ———————————————————————————Today’s workout was mainly a leg day and I incorporated a few chest exercises cause I’m trying to hit chest 3 times a week as opposed to my usual 2 times a week.  You can always tell you’ve had a productive leg day workout when you leave the gym walking like a newborn giraffe 🦒. Enjoy your Wednesday! ———————————————————————————1️⃣ Wide/Sumo Barbell Squats
4 x 8-10
2️⃣ Stiff-leg RDLs w/DBs
4 x 10-12 (slow negatives to get that hamstring stretch)
3️⃣Seated Calf Raises w/loaded plates
4 x 15 (explosive positives, slow negatives)
4️⃣ Leg Press w/loaded plates (vary feet placement) x Calf Raises 
4 x 10-12
4 x 15
5️⃣ Seated Leg Curls
4 x 10-12
6️⃣ Seated Leg Extensions
4 x 15
7️⃣ Lying Leg Curls
4 x 10-12
8️⃣ Hammer Strength Lateral Press

  • #gymshark66 day 23! #brittnebabe21daychallenge booty leg day and a reminder. Everyday I log on and I see people who are losing fat like crazy and I have to remind myself “they aren’t you” it’s easy to be cynical I suppose, but it’s better to move on and forget it or just log off social if you need to. The fact is this is the second time I’m losing a lot of weight and I’m not in my 20s anymore so of course it’s going to take longer for me and that’s okay. My goal is for me to get stronger and eat better so I’m not like my dad and I’m on Oxygen and or dead at 53. I’ve seen the issues of long term obesity and I don’t want that and I don’t want my family to have to deal with it so here I am just remembering to take it one day at a time and that I am my own competition. If you find yourself struggling trust me you aren’t alone and it’s okay we don’t all have perfect days or lives for that matter.
