  • WHAT TO DO AFTER OVEREATING? by @grantgirsky
-
Everyone has off days (& weekends) where they go off track from their plan….it happens to all of us. What matters most is how you respond when this happens.
-
I see far too many people falling into the same negative cycle of overeating, restricting, and punishing themselves afterwards. -
✅ You must accept that you had an 'off day'. Nobody is perfect, and beating yourself up about it does nothing to help.
-
✅ The best thing you can do is to just get right back on track. Don't let one episode of overeating turn into a whole week of overeating. Forget about it and move on.
-
❌ The worst thing you can do after something like a weekend of overeating is to take it out on yourself. Many people will try to make up for their overeating by skipping their next few meals, or doing tons of cardio as a means to 'balance' their mistake. Please don’t do this.
-
☠️ This is a vicious cycle & terrible mindset to have towards your own health. Punishment cardio and yo-yo dieting is a recipe for disaster over the long haul. Don’t do anything drastic, just get back on the wagon.
-
Remember, you are only one bite away from being back on track!
