LET ME EXPLAIN‼️Here’s some high level influencer marketing chit chat from the top i’ve been paying attention to very closely.
.
Firstly, It’s obvious that the bigger you grow the more leakage you will have. This is tru with any brand or biz. Bc the ONLY thing that matters is 👉🏽ENGAGEMENT (brands are jus lazy to do their hmk so they look for big numbers for now, until they realize lower followers but higher engagement per ratio is far more valuable to their $$$) buttt it’s slowly changing bc they realize these 100k+ accounts don’t really have that much needle moving aka REAL influence.
.
If you dig deeper you’ll realize that bc only a certain % of ur audience sees initial content, good reach matters. Bigger followings just mean more potential ghost followers and the numbers start working against you in terms of brand engagement. There are soo many other indicators that better showcase potential influence such as how many comments, character of comments, brand shares, brand fatigue, scroll time, length of time on post etc. That’s the real REAL.
.
It’s also now proven that micro-influencers (20-80k) or so have far deeper relationships with their audience bc they take more time growing and r still connecting. It’s pound for pound better. It’s a sweet spot between having some market validation but careful enough not to seem unreachable or will jus sell out. Here in lies the actual opportunity.
.
i loath the fact that i may be at 100k one day. I know what i lose once we get there from a prof. & personal perspective.
.
I always said why not attempt to actually get to know everyone that follows you whether it’s 2k or 20k. I mean these are REAL people that have subscribed to your channel aka life. i don’t need more marketing to fill a room wth 2k people… their already here! I need to do a better job at building connection & relationship vs lookin at REAL people like empty vessels of $$$. You want real impact find ways to truly help people. Hey Entrepreneurs!
