If you haven't heard already, #DineSheffield is back! 'What the heck is Dine Sheffield' you say? Well my friends, it's basically a two-week celebration of Sheffield's evergrowing food & drink scene, featuring some top notch deals at eateries across the city centre 💰

Each participating restaurant has offers priced at £5, £10 or £15 and some even craft a bespoke Dine Sheffield menu! I popped along to Inox Dine last night for their #DineSheffield deal which is two courses and a drink for £15 - not bad at all eh?

We were given the option to choose from a few alcoholic beverages but I wasn't in the mood for it so I chose an elderflower spritzer. This arrived along with some bread and Henderson's Relish butter. I couldn't detect much Hendo's flavour if I'm honest and I would have preferred the bread to be warm 🍞

Following that, I had the pea & ham hock croquettes with alioli which were nice and crispy and probably the highlight of my meal. I also really enjoyed my spring vegetable pilaf which came with walnut pesto, baked Portobello mushrooms and pulled roast chicken - a real comforting dish.
By this point I was stuffed but I decided to go in for dessert for an extra £3 because I was intrigued by the stem ginger custard which was served alongside parkin and apple compote. No regrets - the warming custard had a slightly woody flavour and it complemented the other components well.

I had a nibble of what my friend ordered too and can confirm it was all very tasty indeed. 🖱️ Head to the link in my bio for more info on Dine Sheffield.

Here are some of the other restaurants I'm eyeing up on #DineSheffield 👀
