Let’s talk weight loss. It ALL comes down to a caloric deficit, no matter what you chose to do to lose weight. .

Now Let’s talk timing of meals and composition of meals when you’re in a caloric deficit. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

1️⃣Eat carbs and protein before and after your workouts. You need energy to work out. Carbs are your energy! .

2️⃣If there is a particular time of day you normally crash, and energy levels are low, save some carbs for this time of day. For me, that’s right around 3 pm so I usually have a protein shake with some fruit to give me energy and fight off fatigue. .

3️⃣Eat a dinner high in protein and fats. You don’t need energy at night to sleep, so no carbs needed for dinner. This will also keep you satiated linger. Protein and fats take longer for your body to break down. Fats slow down the digestion of things as well. For these reasons, you’ll feel full longer. .

4️⃣If you struggle with binge eating late at night because you’re in a deficit, #3️⃣ above will also help. ⬆️⬆️
