  • ⚠️Client Spotlight⚠️🏃‍♀️@greery_lou "During January this year I went to have the gastric sleeve after feeling like I’ve failed at losing weight in the past.
The operation was a success, and I started loosing weight.
I wanted to do this the right way so I contacted Tara as we had a mutual friend who recommended her.
Tara was able to fit in with my busy working mum life.

When meeting I told Tara how I will moan, yell, swear and carry on ( I don’t think she really knew what she was in for), but she laughed it off and hasn’t stopped laughing since.
Tara knows when to give me that little push when needed and when to tell me to shut up.

We have been working together for about 2 months now and I can feel a big difference in my strength and outlook on personal fitness."- Greer ⚠️Client Spotlight⚠️🏃‍♀️@greery_lou "During January this year I went to have the gastric sleeve after feeling like I’ve failed at losing weight in the past. • My first #spartanrace since Ivy and it was meant to be for training to benchmark where i am now... Turns out I need to kick myself up the bum and train properly! It was great to run the course again and highlight my weaknesses failing spear throw and half of the rings which I should have got. I did enjoy it as well and went in the open wave to take the pressure off and so I could see how my body took to it. I decided before I set off I wasn't going to do chest to ground burpees as the movement isn't appropriate for me #postnatal to move my core in that less controlled way as you go to the ground and then back up so I went to a plank where I felt I could control my core still (this isn't allowed in competitive waves). Still I had a great time after switching my negative self talk that I wasn't fit enough to positive after the first km (mentality also a working progress) and had a giggle at the end on the hercules hoist ➡️ slide over, (🔊 for coaching by @ge_training)
Looking forward to improving and cutting down my times!

  • Y’all wanted a twist 👆

So here we go with a #transformationtuesday that’s a day late so I guess it’s going to be a #waybackwednesday. Either way, one more day shouldn’t hurt when it’s been a few years in the making. In the left picture I was finishing university in 2015 and had probably gained about three stone. Baggy clothes were my friend a lot of the time because I couldn’t deal with my stomach and hips pinched by skin tight jeans. I was desperately unhappy. Three years of being answerable to no one and three deaths in the family had taken its toll on my mind and my body, drinking to excess and eating crap food and take away at least once a week. The photo on the right was taken at the weekend, and that smile is some real shit right there. I’ve had my ups and downs on this journey, but one thing is for sure, I can smile now. And really, isn’t that all this has been for? #fitnessinspiration #rachelfitnessuk Y’all wanted a twist 👆 . . .
