Get After It
𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐈𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠
This workout was originally intended to consist of my standard Rx: 40 seconds of work and 20 seconds of rest.
But after round one, the lactic acid burn in my legs was not going to let that stand 🔥🔥🔥
So I changed on the fly to 30 seconds of work, 15 seconds rest.
This allowed the workout to truly be HIIT= high intensity interval training, instead of me needing to stop every 10 seconds cause my legs were screaming.
The workout was still killer, finished drenched in sweat, I felt challenged yet accomplished.
I know we like to joke about how miserable a workout is, but if it’s truly miserable, our motivation to stick with it consistently won’t last long.
Remember it’s always YOUR workout. You get to choose what will work for YOU.
Save this workout, give it a try, tell me how it goes!
🏀 ⚽️ Just move!
No weights Tuesday🤷♂️
Being healthy is about being active😌not just how you look🙏
Sports will always be my go to cardio! I’m having fun and burning calories🤷♂️Win-Win!😆
Today I picked B-ball and soccer😌Next time I might go tennis and track🤷♂️ as long as I’m sweating, I’m happy😄💦
Don’t set expectations ✨👑 .
Embrace each moment as they come, learn, & grow from them. Expectations create gaps which are usually filled with negative energy. I am taking the journey to not have expectations for myself, others, & just my everyday. I’m embracing what God provides and looking at it as a way to discover who I am. I am excited to see my mindset shift & not be so hard on myself. Here’s to showing love ❤️ .
How often do you do outdoor activities and really enjoy your time in that moment? .
. . We live in such a fast paced world. The one thing that slows me down when I’m on the go, is the outdoors. .
. It’s such a stress free environment. It helps you stay calm, think things through or deeply, and humbles you. . . Looking at these beautiful scenes, relaxes you and makes you realize what’s really important and how tiny problems are. .
. You always have a choice to better any situation. Taking a walk outdoors gives so much mental clarity. .
. . Sometimes, a break from your routine is the very best thing you need. .
