@adry_bella I had already lost 80 lbs on the left. I remember buying that jean mini skirt and saying to myself, “I can’t wait to wear it and it fit just right!” It was a size 9. Funny story, by the time I found it again in one of my drawers it was too big 😫 so I never got to flaunt it. My advice is go to thrift stores and buy you an item smaller than you are, try it on once a week and take pictures. Sometimes you may not see the number on the scale drop, but inches on your waist will! I love knowing that I’m getting older, but I will feel and look younger than I did in my 20’s. Healthy life is a long life! ✅@adry_bella✅ BE STRONG, LIVE LONG💟

A health and lifestyle modification or any sort of habit change happens in phases and takes time.
Its impossible to make a modification/change last if it is hurried into your life.
Specially with nutrition, wanting too much too soon is a recipe for disaster.
Sustainable Habits only form when you allow yourself time to initiate mantain and moderate them, otherwise all changes will be temporary.
So afterunderstanding your own goals and way of life, there is a commin blue print which will help you to create effective change to lose weight, gain muscle and increase your overall health.
Here are the four phases of change:
Initiation to Change Phase - Creating Minor changes so that your fear based mind is not triggered to make you go into a comfort zone and stop you before you start.
Increasing Adaptability Phase - Gradually increasing the changes based on what you want to achieveso as to put you in a state of maximal benefit with respect to your daily habits.
Sustaining Changes Phase - Mantaining maximal changes for long enough to seep through you and inculcate physical changes required.
Moderating Changes for Life Long sustenence phase - Lowering the intensity of changes to sub maximal levels so that they are not hard to follow on a day to day basis, and you do not have to take cheat breaks.

I struggle with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder. I won't hide it. In fact, I am proud that I take medication. I am proud that I have sought counseling. I am proud that I have made this far. .

I spent way too long hiding my feelings., mental illness, and suicidal thoughts (I do not currently have suicidal thoughts). Don't be like me. Reach out, reach up. .

How to be successful in reaching your fitness goals...

1. Stop thinking about it.
2. Get up and go!

Too often we let small hesitations manifest themselves into legitimate excuses not to train. It’s raining/it’s too hot, I’m tired/hungry, I’m going to be late/got too much to do, my kids need me, I haven’t got anything to wear/my kit’s in the wash, I can’t find my trainers etc etc etc..etc etc.
.
There’s one simple solution to all these mindfarts to free your mind and let you just DO => PLANNING.
.
Pick your most common excuse and make a plan to ensure it doesn’t stop you again. .
Weather related? Find the right gear to protect you. Energy related? Get into a good sleep routine and always make sure you have enough good quality nutrition & hydration throughout the day. Meal and snack prep helps A LOT. Time related? This is when preparation is key - set an alarm, have your kit ready to go, make the necessary arrangements to ensure you get your YOU time, uninterrupted! Write a list, prioritise, schedule and KEEP TO this schedule!
.
Seems simple enough, no? Too simple to actually make a difference and bother trying? Let me tell you! I still go through waves of procrastination and end up not training as planned, but when I DO PLAN and give myself the headspace to not have to think about it, I never fail! Big win for me is getting my kit ready the night before to train first thing in the morning. I also put my workout time in my work calendar to make it non-negotiable and non-bookinable with meetings! Small changes and a tiny amount of time dedicated to planning, can make a world of difference.
.
Of course there are times you should listen to your body and there’s a reason rather than an excuse to rest. This could be an injury, feeling unwell, dizziness, bad headache (light headache, nope, get up and go still), in which case you should always consult your doctor/physician for clearance to exercise.
.
Otherwise, it’s all in your head - get out of your head and into the world of MOVEMENT and LIBERATE your body! 🙌☀️🏃♀️💪💧🍃🌊

When week 2 doesn’t go as planned, scale goes up, inches don’t move, it’s discouraging. To see yourself go from one extreme to another and not even realize it until you wake up one day, look in the mirror and tell yourself it’s time to cut the crap. I’m in that boat and it’s hard but thankfully I have two very supportive people helping me along the way. I won’t give up, I’ll just try to push harder on the days I don’t want to. I’m sure there are multiple factors that play into this very slow, VERY slow process and I hope to eliminate some of those factors along the way but until then... the show must go on. “So all that I'm trying to say
I'm looking for a better way

My personal favorite is the portobella pizza but all of these are great fun options you can make at home. Get crazy with it and add some fun toppings of choice! Info below:

Bell pepper pizza - 1/2 bell pepper, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese + 2 broccoli florets.
.
Portable pizza - 1/2 Portabella mushroom cap, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese, 2 basil leaves, 1 olive cut into slices.
.
Zucchini pizza boats - 1/2 zucchini, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 2 tbsp mixed cheese, 2 cherry tomatoes.
.
Rice cake pizza - 1 rice cake, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 2 basil leaves, 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese.
.
Pita pizza - 1 medium pita, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese, 2 basil leaves + 3 cherry tomatoes.

Pizza pizza - Ordered from the doughroom in Culver City haha Because sometimes you can treat yo self to a damn real pizza.

How to cook the veggie pizzas:
1 - Preheat oven to 350F.
2 - Scoop out the inside of the mushroom, bell pepper or zucchini boat (you can cook the bell pepper or zucchini in oven before adding toppings or add toppings then cook if you don’t need it well done. Mushroom you can add the toppings right away & cook)
3 - Add 1/4 cup marinara, toppings & cheese
4 - Bake in oven for about 10 minutes then enjoy!

You can bake the pita & rice cake in oven or you can microwave xoxo.

Because who doesn’t love pizza?! 😜 Want a fun way to get your pizza on while still getting in more veggies? Try any of the options in the top row!

My personal favorite is the portobella pizza but all of these are great fun options you can make at home. Get crazy with it and add some fun toppings of choice! Info below:

Bell pepper pizza - 1/2 bell pepper, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese + 2 broccoli florets.
.
Portable pizza - 1/2 Portabella mushroom cap, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese, 2 basil leaves, 1 olive cut into slices.

Zucchini pizza boats - 1/2 zucchini, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 2 tbsp mixed cheese, 2 cherry tomatoes.
.
Rice cake pizza - 1 rice cake, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 2 basil leaves, 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese.

Pita pizza - 1 medium pita, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese, 2 basil leaves + 3 cherry tomatoes.

Pizza pizza - Ordered from the doughroom in Culver City haha Because sometimes you can treat yo self to a damn real pizza.

How to cook the veggie pizzas:
1 - Preheat oven to 350F.
2 - Scoop out the inside of the mushroom, bell pepper or zucchini boat (you can cook the bell pepper or zucchini in oven before adding toppings or add toppings then cook if you don’t need it well done. Mushroom you can add the toppings right away & cook)
3 - Add 1/4 cup marinara, toppings & cheese
4 - Bake in oven for about 10 minutes then enjoy!

You can bake the pita & rice cake in oven or you can microwave xoxo.
