After competing for my first power lifting meet in December I had to take time off from the bar and start focusing more on recovering from my back injury.
Beating myself up everyday because I wasn’t in the gym consistently doing what I thought was “best” for my self mentally and physically. At that time the best was to take time off instead of pushing my body to the point of no recovery. The best thing I could have done was taken time off, to learn more about what was going on and understand that days off were just as important as training days. Learning to respect my self more and not take for granted the one body I was blessed to have.
As of today my back has made a great recovery to the point where I was able to dead lift a set of 5 for 235 ! My last PR being 220 in December. hi babes!! i’m sophie and i figured i’d tell you a little bit about myself. i’ve been a fan since the red era and went to two 1989 concerts. i fell out of love with taylor but recently found her again and couldn’t be more thrilled!! i think my favorite album is tied between “red” and “speak now” but i am SO excited for her new music. love you guys!!
