I’ve just loaded our first family vlog to YouTube 🤩
It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while now but never really had the confidence to do so until I recently watched a video done by @sj_strum on how to start vlogging and it gave me the push to film.
I’ll leave the link in my bio if anyone fancies a watch x
i did two things i’m proud of today:
🌟 finally braved giving blood after wanting to do it for years but letting my phobia of needles get in the way
🌟 didn’t cry or have a mini-breakdown when i received my wedding invites and realised they’re printed on the wrong paper
both totally different levels but either way i’m pretty happy with that from a monday and i’m now gunna write out my invites with an extra pretty gold gel pen to make up for it.
also, if anyone hasn’t given blood who wants to/can, i really urge you to do it. it can save lives and make others better and i promise it is nowhere near as bad as it is in our heads ❤️ hands up who’s braved it despite being scared? 🙋🏼♀️

That's me finished building my Gundam model kit
Iron Blooded Orphans
This model looks awesome and cool as well
Liked the design seeing this in person, I know it's small and same size my other Gundam model but it looks cool though
One of the arms kept falling off which it was annoying
But I manage to try fix it over again
I'm happy with this model kit! 😃🙂😁

Day 89 Friday July 24, 2015
We are starting to get a bit anxious. Could she be coming home tomorrow? We are keeping our fingers crossed [and making sure she takes all of her feeds so she’ll gain weight ;)] Doctors are so proud of her progress and so are we! They took her oxygen saturation probe off (the ET light), so now she only has 3 leads which tell us her heart rate and respiratory rate.
Aubrey’s primary nurse, Melissa, was back tonight, which we couldn’t be more happy about. I don’t believe we’ve talked much about primary nurses- its when we, or the nurse, chooses to be with Aubrey every time they work. Melissa has been our night time primary and John when she isn’t there. Her primary nurses followed her from level 3 to level 2, they know her struggle, and just how far along she’s come, so they share our excitement and joy that the journey is close to an end. This was especially exciting tonight as we anxiously weighed Aubrey. While we’ve always liked weigh in time- this time was different. This weigh in will determine whether she comes home tomorrow, or whether we will have to start over with our 48 hours of weight gain. As we all held our breath Melissa put Aubrey on the scale and…
She gained weight! It was only about 15 grams, but a gain is a gain! We are going home tomorrow!!!! #excited#nicubaby#sleepingbaby
It’s funny how this little girl woke me up today asking me at what time we are going to the gym lol 😆 (she’s so funny) .
I’m so happy that she gets to join us, and also we get to share our passion with her 🥰 #happymonday
