When consuming sugar, your need for the B vitamins and Vitamin C increase. Why? Because the body has to use its stores of these vitamins in order to handle the nutrient-void sugar your just consumed. It’s crazy how much sugar is in everything. For real, look at your labels and ingredient lists. Your body is not created to handle more than 4 grams of sugar at once—that’s equatable to 1 teaspoon (and that’s a lot). And when you consume more than 4g, your body has to overcompensate by burdening the adrenals to put out cortisol after the pancreas already released insulin, thus causing the body to dump minerals in the process and a terrible cycle of hangry to dead tired to hangry again. So now your deficient in minerals and vitamins because of the overconsumption of #sugar. Do yourself a favor, and partake in at least one #whole30. You will be the better for it. #trustme

The internationally acclaimed United States Army Field Band and Soldier’s Chorus of Washington, DC will continue its long tradition free public performances as part of the Pavilion's 30th Performing Arts Season. The 60-member Concert Band and 29-member Soldiers’ Chorus perform regularly in some of the most famous concert halls in the world, and just as often in the humblest auditoriums in the smallest of communities. The joining of these two ensembles allows them to offer unparalleled versatility of programming, ranging from orchestral masterworks and operatic arias to Sousa marches, jazz classics, and Broadway musicals. The band and chorus also perform independently, and have recently shared the stage with such ensembles as the Boston Pops, the Cincinnati Pops, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra.
