Try these delicious energy balls we made! They are paleo, vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free, and dairy free.
- 1 cup medjool dates
- 1 1/2 cups cashew nuts
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 cup freeze dried raspberries
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 tsp matcha powder
Start off by soaking the pitted dates in boiling water, for an hour to make sure they are soft when all the ingredients are blended. Add the freeze dries raspberries into a blender and blend until they become a fine powder. Next empty the powder onto a plate and get started on the base. Add the dates, cashews, hazelnuts, cacao powder, maca powder and matcha powder into a blender, and blend into a smooth, thick, paste like consistency. Next, take 1 tbsp sized scoops of the mixture and roll it into balls and coat the balls with the raspberry powder. Once they are coated put them in the fridge to chill for about 1 hour and then enjoy.

It is also called; water chestnut, singhara, pani-phal, devil pod and so on. This fruit belongs to the species of floating annual aquatic plants.
