Lay on your back with your butt bones against the wall, try to extend your legs all the way. Turn your legs so your feet are pointing in and point your toes toward you. Then you can take your arms and push your palms out, then bring your arms down to the ground. Hold this for about 30 seconds.

If you’re like me, you may not be able to extend your legs fully because of tight hamstrings or even dealing with sciatica, so you can either scoot away from the wall or bend your knees slightly. Your goal is to be able to progress to where you can sit against the wall with your legs straight.

This works great for people that may sit too long or have poor posture for whatever reason to give some relief of low back pain and sciatica by helping decompress the low back, relieving the tension on the structures line the facet joints, overactive muscles, and even nerves.
