A day of mixed emotions, happy because this car is going to a good home but a sad one also. Back when the AAR Cuda’s were being homologated for the Trans Am racing series they were sold in various places and colors and this one was sold right here in Ohio, to my Grandfather and Grandmother who were viewing it at Village Dodge, they left without the car only to get a few miles down the road and turning around and heading back to buy it, they drove away and the rest is history, my father rode in this as a child constantly and was supposed to have the car at age 16 and through many years of being moved around the car was given to him finally and then transported in its current state back to our house where it sit while we figure out how to go about restoration, my grandfather then became ill with lung cancer and then focus shifted towards that and other little life tasks that are apart of everyday life, and we were not able to get the car drivable for him by the time he passed and the car sat in the garage untouched, now it is finally going to be restored to its once glorious 1970 days. In its place something is coming to the garage that is going to live on with me and my father as we continue to live a life that is fueled with a passion for anything automotive. It was awesome to see it and learn about and I hope to see it complete one day❤️
“The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona stands as a living legend among chronographs. This precious interpretation uses 18ct yellow gold down to the most subtle details. In addition to the case and bracelet, the hands, the indices and the dial plate itself are also made of solid 18ct gold. Even the green colour coating of the dial is obtained by a special process using gold.
