Let it go, but like foreal foreal.
Whatever it is that’s suffocating your soul. A job, a friendship, resentment, regret etc. You don’t need anyone’s permission but yourselves. Allow yourself to grow 🌱 If it hurts let it, but don’t get stuck in a cycle sis. Sooner or later you will figure out you gotta stop watering dead plants. Know your worth and learn to reroute. Allow yourself to breath again. You got this, at the end of the day don’t forget YOU matter too. Fuck em’ Fuck it

Three states, two countries, One step daughter graduation, One Teledoc call, One Emergency Room visit and One Upper Endoscopy….
I’m always on the fence about what to share and what not to. I’m a very “overshare” person in real life so I try to be conscious about that here…
As I’ve said before… my health journey has not been full of twists & turns. Still no official diagnosis…but the journey shapes me as an artist and person so I think sharing it here makes sense too..
All that I’ve shared over my stories have been the highlights over the last several weeks…The “in between” moments when I wasn’t at the doctors, emergency room etc…It’s been a beautiful 3 weeks…My step daughter graduated high school which we were in Atlanta for…We then got to travel to Miami and the Bahamas for my husbands work. So yes, my surroundings were amazing while in the process of healing…
It started with a UTI (Which I have a long reoccurring history with) and I am going to make a blog post about this with the new website launch July 1st…: my history, the social stigma around UTI’s ( I might scream if someone winks at me again or gives me THAT look and assumes it’s all sex related…Sometimes I say bladder infection instead )…Well, that infection seemed to go away until the night of my step daughters graduation where I ended up in the ER with severe dehydration, a UTI that wasn’t responding to pain medicine and extreme nausea…They got it under control thanks to the amazing staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia but I was going to be on a long list of medications for the next two weeks…
Before this I had been having GI issues so I was already scheduled for an upper endoscopy a week later where they found furrowing in my esophagus but was negative for what they thought it was…and now after my ER followup visit..I’m exhibiting symptoms of pleurisy in my left lung.
But you know what? I’m OK…I’m still able to get up every morning, do the things I love and live life to the best of my ability.
Lately, I’ve been really annoyed at how much #deepellum has changed. The traffic on weekends and the increase in trash and crime is enough to make even the most chill person go crazy. But then I just look at the amazing art that surrounds me, and I’m reminded of the reason I’m here! #publicart is awesome #travelingman with #birds at #sunset
Finished. I can’t wait to deliver this home portrait today! Since the last post I’ve added details to the stonework and shadows. If you want to see the entire home portrait, it is on my Liana Yarckin Watercolors Facebook page.
