With honey you can create unique cocktails. Just Have in your mind that the flavour of the honey is never the same...Flower honey isaromatic with flower aromas while pine tree honey has smokey and wood aromas.. #honey#the_urbane_botanist 🍯🍯🍯🍯
Man the flavor is great but the color is a little sad. Brown hue due to hitting it with unrefined Demerara sugar. Perhaps I’ll add caramel coloring and go that route. I’m going to let these bottles sit for a bit in a cupboard to mellow out. Comes in at 45% abv. Herbal “genepi” style liqueur that I started back in the beginning of December. 21 herbal ingredients total into high proof neutral grain spirit. I’m very happy with the palate of this one but I’ve learned a lesson with coloring!! #liqueur#artemesia#herbs#amaro#craftcocktails#bartenderlife#work
Bithub - jack rose | brandy | lime |
If you’re looking for a fun themed bar in Taipei bithub is the place to be! Managed by my good friend Raisy, this crypto blockchain themed bar offers a ton of crypto specific alcohol. If you visit and run into the manager tell her Sharon sent you;) The menu is quite educational and nicely decorated with punny crypto jokes. They also host blockchain related educational events in the basement level every month! Super nice and cozy environment during the day and night great place to grab a drink and work!

Totally outside my comfort zone today posting my first ever Scotch Whiskey cocktail 🙃
I came across this simple recipe while flicking through a @danmurphys cocktail guide - I remembered my new bottle of amaretto and the rest is history...
45mL scotch whiskey
Stir well with ice in a mixing glass then strain into a highball glass with a couple of ice cubes.
A delicious rich, warm sip - and the perfect indulgent after dinner aperitif.
This is definitely not something you’ll see on my insta every day or even every week, but I’m really enjoying branching out and trying new spirits and flavours here - I hope you’re enjoying seeing them too!
