I get a lot of questions about keto/low carb cooking and it doesn’t have to be time consuming. Tonight we had steamed fresh broccoli with rotisserie chicken from the grocery deli and homemade mushroom gravy. It took 10-12 minutes! I steamed the broccoli in the microwave while I sautéed about a cup of mushrooms in approx 2 tbsp of clarified butter. I added a cup of shredded queso cheese, 1 tbsp of horseradish brown mustard, and about 2 tbsp of heavy cream. Just keep stirring until smooth. I lightly salted the broccoli, tossed it in a bowl, added the chicken thigh and poured the gravy on top. Seriously SO easy and absolutely delicious. #keto#lowcarb#dinner#cooking#shortcuts

This is probably the proudest I've been of my cooking in ages. XD I've never cooked fish and I didn't really know much about it except that people say it can be tricky. Maybe it was beginner's luck but it came out amazing and I'm so excited to experiment with this and other recipes going forward.
Have you ever cooked fish? Do you even like fish? XD What have you always wanted to cook but never dared? 👩🏽🍳
I recently have been feeling this creative void. Tired of shooting in the same style over and over again. Luckily I have clients like @junipergreenkitchen that trust my vision and let my try something completely different. Excited to share all of these images with you. There's something about the adrenaline running through your veins when you're 15m up a near-vertical rock, clinging onto it by your finger tips and toes that makes you want to continue doing it.
Well, it was like that for me at least 😅
I learnt a lot during the few climbs that I completed as well.
The biggest thing I learnt was - trust.
You really need to trust your rope and equipment.
Trust your partner belaying you.
Trust your shoes to grip to that tiny speck of a rock when everything inside your body is telling you it won't.
You really need to trust the process of the whole thing.
And it's a little cliché, but the same goes for fat loss.
TRUST THE PROCESS
When you're 3 weeks in and you feel as though nothing is changing and everything inside you is telling you to quit, shutdown those voices/feelings and trust the process.
The results will come.
If I got 3 quarters up that rock and wouldn't trust my legs and shoes to support me when it came to the critical step, I'd have to quit and come back down the wall.... choosing to fail.
There was no way that was happening so I planted my foot and pressed into it, whether or not I fell was irrelevant after that point - I made the decision and went for it.
That's the most important part!
Make up your mind and stick to it. See it out.
If you 'fall off the wall' - so be it. You went for it and learnt a lesson.
If you never take that step, you never find out if you could climb that rock. You never find out if you could lose that fat.
So next time you're faced with a tough decision, or you feel like giving up, ask yourself:
If you do this, what could you become?
Made a brief check in at Zoës Kitchen today!
Because health is wealth, I settled for the Salmon Kabob with Greek salad and turmeric rice on the side.
Since this was a to-go order, I was afraid that the flavor would not hold up through the 8 minute car ride back home.. however, I was proven wrong once I opened the still-warm-container filled with delectable goods.
I was thrilled upon first bite with how JUICY the grilled salmon was- I almost felt as if it was ambrosia. Coating the whole kabob, the generous sprinkling of Zoës Kitchen’s piquant seasoning was also quite exquisite, as its slightly astringent tang made it the perfect accompaniment for the zucchini’s placid, mild flavor. Even a single nibble of this kabob can instantly transport you to Flavor Town, USA. Amazing.
I also loved how generous Zoës Kitchen was with the feta cheese on the Greek salad- those are the portion sizes I live for.
However, I would like to mention that the customer service was disgraceful— please refer to the second slide. My cashier wrote my name as “UGLY” for the order! This was UNACCEPTABLE behavior and I WILL be filing a customer complaint. I am at least grateful that I was compensated for the lack of respect with a lemon cookie, a Rosemary Ham & Mozzarella piadina, and a limeade. The piadina had an addictive quality that made me devour the whole thing in seconds when I had initially planned on a quick taste (it was most definitely the scrumptiously zesty sauce inside that did it) The piadina, cookie, and drink definitely was able to bring me back to a content state of mind (and stomach) after the ordeal with the cashier. (please don’t think I’m being serious lol I’m just kidding the worker is my friend)
Siiii volvimos y super recargadas 💯

ŞIHIL MAHŞİ -STUFFED ZUCCHİNİ WİTH GROUND BEEF AND CHICKPEA
Tencereye dizilir. Üzerine su, tuz, nane ve domates salçası iyice karıştırılarak sos hazırlanır. Dolmaların üzerine gezdirilir. Ocağa alınır, kısık ateşte kabaklar hafif yumuşayana kadar pişirilir. Yanında sarımsaklı yoğurtla birlikte sıcak servis yapılır...🍽
