Taking some time this off season to give the elbows a break and work on some SSB Squats. 407x3. First time over 400 since surgery. Got a little ugly towards the end, but I’m happy with how the weight moved. Gotta keep puttin that work in!
The squat is one of the toughest and most technical of the big 3 movements. Luckily, the G.O.A.T., @andrey_malanichev , will be @spartanbbell on 01/05/2019 to break down the squat, proper wrapping, and will work individually with all attendees to improve their technique. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity. Registration link is available in Andrey’s and Spartan Barbell’s bios. Hope to see you there!
I took a few weeks off of heavy training to let some of my nagging pains heal up and now it’s back to work. 3 sets of paused deadlifts at 390 after 4 sets of 410. My goal is to pull 525+ in 2019. I’ll have my first crack at it in January at the Iron Warrior Kickoff Classic in January.

After a week of travel and almost no sleep, starting to get back in the groove of things. All tops sets shown here. 6 sets of 3 reps at 405. Also knocked out my Front squats today. 5 sets of 4 reps at 245. Pretty easy stuff.
