Good morning all. Its been a minute so I thought Id drop in a few nuggets for you all. 5 rules I personally live by to ensure my mental well being during busy or mentally taxing periods in my life.
NO.1. WORK HARD: It explains itself. Nothing beat hard work. No matter what you do or what your goals are.
NO.2. STAY IN YOUR LANE: Mind your business literally and figuratively. If its out of your hands, then move on. Stay focused on you.
NO.3. TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME: You may have failed today, but tomorrow is another day. Another xhance to get things right. So dont hold on to yesterday. Let go and like the morning, start afresh. Tomorrow can be your dat if you plan today accordingly.
NO.4. CELEBRATE: No matter how small the victory. Recognise your wins, as they are the gust of wind that keeps our dreams afloat. There is much to learn from lossing and much to gain from victory.
NO.5. BE HUMBLE: Be Patient and observant. Dont let success or failure go to your head with out going through your heart first. Becareful not to be distracted or derailed by friends or family even loved ones. Unless 100% supportive, they will always want you to prioritise them over your goals. So be weary of this.
5 simple tid bits that can help you get what you want. There are many more things i can say that would help but for me. These are personally my top 5. That keeps me on track and get me out of my feeling on very bad days.
We all suffer from one thing or another. So find what works best for you. I suffer from depression and anxiety attacks, that dont affect my body as such, but rather my mind. Its shuts down, blocking everyone and everything out until I feel better.
Over the holidays I have thought about this intensely. Made my shortlist, tried it out. Failed miserably and revised it. In the end its all in aid of the one thing we all need to combat mental health. KEEP YOUR LIFE SIMPLE. as simple as you can make it. The structure and reutine helps, A LOT.
