In the past years, I have been working to the point of exhaustion. This year, there wasn’t a single day off where I had to worry what would happen next. While I am happy about these achievements and being able to maintain a lifestyle without much of a worry, I am often looking back to the time before I ended up in Vancouver, doing what I am doing. A producer I met in Montreal on one of Roland Emmerich’s sets, told me, “If you want to become a working screenwriter, go to Vancouver! You’ll be in the same time zone with us.” I followed his advice... and while that one day also made me curious about the position of script supervisor, I look back now and realize, it have been 5 years since I received his precious advice, 4 years that I have been living and establishing myself in Vancouver, and created two careers in no time I have nothing to complain about, but my initial goal and desire that had been there since I was a kid somehow drifted aside: becoming a working screenwriter. I have promised myself early this year to make a couple of changes to find more time for myself and focus on the things that are important, professionally and privately, and then I catch myself saying ‘yes’ to just another task I could have gone without to focus on what is really important. In this industry, it is hard to say “no” until you reach a point where you realize, you are not doing yourself a favor anymore. “No.” can become the shortest and most important word when you think about it in many areas of life. 🎥🎬📝 #filmindustry#vancouver#yvr#filmlife#screenwriting#scriptchat#memories#tiredbuthappy#happybuttired#scriptsupervisor#vanscripty#thenandnow#goals#career#filmcareer#actorslife#acting#actor#actress#blackandwhite#directing#director#amwriting#producer#producing#lifeitself
1st rule of entrepreneurship: Your idea is NOT unique! Somebody else already though of it. One thing I do know though is there is only one YOU! Your marketing, brand & purpose may be totally different than the next persons and so is your clientele! Favor and what is for you will be for you! Keep moving!
What are little things that bring you joy? A few of mine are; americanos w/ oat milk + vanilla, planners with the perfect layout, soft pajamas, good eyebrows, and rainy days. I think it's important to recognize these little things, and list them out every once in awhile. We're always looking to upgrade everything in our lives; get a bigger house, a nicer car, a better job, an extravagant vacation... And while these big goals are great to have, it's vital to just take a step back and look at all the little things that you can do every day, in the mean time, that bring you joy. The small things add up. 🖤
You see success has been defined as one idea.
Beauty, defined by one idea.
The road we must take in order to become worthy which is taught to us. Handed down to us. Instilled in us.
And if we don't fit these boxes we don't get to experience 'success', 'feeling beautiful' or 'feeling worthy enough' amidst others.
And we start doing things and walk down paths away from our dreams to fit into these boxes.
And we end up not feeling true to ourselves.
And our vibes get all out of order n' shit.
And we attract all kind of shit in our life.
And we focus on all this shit that is coming into our lives.
Reacting to it.
Pitying over it.
Getting depressed over it.
And truly not until you start walking a path calling to your heart, and working on going back to your true nature which is worthy just by being here.
And until you look at your beauty as a beauty only you will ever hold.
And until you see how special you are and how special your talents are, your passions are, you will always struggle to get your vibes right.
And you will feel like you are walking against a river to accomplish your goals. 🌌
Go home to yourself.
Follow your dreams.
Don't focus on building a career out of them, concentrate on building a life with them. 🌌🌌 -
Taking time to myself over this long weekend to get back to nature, paganism, my inner hippie and celebrating the Earth 🌏 🌲🌞🌝
I’ve neglected my spiritual side a lot over the last 2 years, not finding the time to celebrate the simple things in life, to just be present in the moment and enjoy the glorious things that nature and the earth provides us. .
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transferred 🌳 And the earth and universe has so much energy available for us to tap into. I often forget this and flood my body with caffeine ☕️ and constantly remain in a fight or flight state 🤯
. The last few months, and some recent health concerns have taught me that life can change instantly and often without your consent. Time to return to my roots and ensure that I remain my pure self ✌🏼🧘🏻♀️💜

Primary Food - Relationships, Relationship with Self, Self Care- GOALing this sauna thing to happen to see how much I'm feeling it- i.e if I'm getting the benefits, if it can fit into my routine? if it is cost effective etc.... feeling it out!
If I'm not feeling it then I'll leave it alone and derive sauna benefits from other non sauna sources.
I aggressively seek ways and means to improve my health through #spirituality#career#relationships because the more balanced I am in those areas the more consistent I am with my #cleanfood and #exercise.
Together these food groups function as a ecosystem that determines how well I am able to maximise my unique potential on earth
This sauna thing is a medium to big thing but tiny little things can work as well. I discuss them all in my guide Reset in @fontana_pharmacy
and on Amazon!
The more BALANCED my primary foods (spirituality, career, relationships, exercise) and Secondary Food (what I eat) is not only the more I WIN my goals at life but the faster I WIN them @womenwinningnow
SANZER HAND GEL ADS
Chances are, when you first looked at this advert, it made your stomach churn a bit. When Thai ad agency Chuo Senko was asked to create a promotion for Sanzer anti-bacterial hand-gel, it really went for the repulsive route. This series of print ads take the invisible grime and germs that cover public objects and makes them oh-so-visible. Are you looking at your keyboard and wondering what horrors really lurk there? Perhaps you should go and wash your hands, just in case.
What is good about Good Friday?
Why isn't it called Bad Friday?
Because out of the appallingly bad came what was inexpressibly good. And the good trumps the bad, because though the bad was temporary, the good is eternal
