📆 You might hear many health and well-being professionals tell you to not be a slave to the scales and reduce the frequency in which you weigh yourself.

🧠 We operate a little differently at @bodysmartfitness. We believe that knowledge is power. When you understand body weight fluctuations you don't need to be a slave to the scale anymore and don't need to let it ruin your day.

😮 Look at the two examples above. If you were to weigh yourself Monday and the following Monday it might look like you've gained a pound. However when you the average over the week you've actually lost weight.

👉 We can't stress this enough. There are so many variable factors that affect your weight including poor sleep, time of the month, stress and eating a meal high in sodium. (Swipe right to check out different things that affect the number on the scales).

Those who love the numbers side with tracking & those who hear the word ‘calories’ & immediately get anxious & stressed.

The truth is if your diet or food intake makes you stressed, filled with anxiety, & like you hate this diet game that’s a problem.

No matter what planet you’re on you have to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight, right?

Well, if you’re one of those people who can’t get the hang of tracking calories without your stress levels maxing out this post is for you.

When eating just follow these 2 steps... 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥 1: 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙞𝙣 & 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩
I don’t care which ones, I don’t care if it’s fruits or vegetables, just make sure every meal has both present.

𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥 2: 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚 𝙚𝙖𝙩 50-75% 𝙤𝙛 𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜
If you normally have 3-4 pieces of pizza, have 1 or 2.

If you normally have a bottle of wine, have half.

If you normally eat a massive bowl of cereal have a small one.

This way nothing is off limits, there is no 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 food or 𝘣𝘢𝘥 food, everything can be enjoyed in moderation.

Don’t drop carbs, or fats, or sugar, or fun foods, or whatever else you enjoy.

Just follow these rules & let me know what happens over the next few months.

👉 Hay una serie de músculos y ejercicios que normalmente son pasados por alto en las salas de musculación. Pero aunque muchas veces estos músculos son estimulados en ejercicios orientados a otros grupos es importante tenerlos presente. .
👉 Los músculos que participan de la retracción escapular (ej. Romboides) son uno de esos grupos olvidados. .
👉La función principal de los romboides es aproximar las escapulas a la columna.

👉 La fortaleza de estos músculos es fundamental para conseguir tener una postura correcta, normalmente frente al pectoral, mas desarrollado, quedan en desventaja y los hombros acaban rotando internamente (hacia adelante) lo que da la imagen de la espalda redondeada.

👉 Muchas veces suele considerarse “trabajado” junto con el trapecio, pero la forma de realizar el ejercicio es fundamental para activarlo correctamente. .
👉 Para eso, tanto durante el trabajo de dorsales (espalda) como hombros (posterior) y trapecio, debemos concentrarnos en aproximar las escapulas entre si al contraer los músculos, de forma que los hombros se muevan hacia atrás así, podemos incluirlo en nuestra rutina sin necesidad de agregar ejercicios o tiempo de trabajo. El video muestra una de las formas de trabajarlo, pero no la unica!
