We get 1 life, just 1. You have to decide how you live it. What truely makes you happy. Being fit, healthy & having fun with my daughters makes me happy. It wasn’t always like this though. I made a decision to change my life, but I had to heal myself first. I had to heal the reasons I hid behind my poor lifestyle choices. That my friends is the hardest part about loosing weight. Anyone can loose weight but keeping it off or even just maintaining during a plateau is the hardest part. I chose to eat healthy, I chose to drink more water, I chose to go to the gym. 365 days of opportunities, 24 hours in a day. There is always time to look after yourself. Positive mind, positive body. Strong mind, Strong body. Give thanks and gratitude for what your mind & your body can give to you but you & only you can control it. There is no secret pill, no magical serum, no shape wear that can give you the long term result, you have to do that. Keep working on yourself & trust that everything will fall into place. Everything will come to you at the right time, just keep improving yourself and what you attract into your life will soon match your vision. Calories in vs. Calories out. The first picture is me not counting calories and eating everything in sight because I was bulking 🙄. The second picture is me restricting calories around 500-600 a day CONSISTENTLY for around a year. For a while I was working out no cardio and a cheat day, then installed and figured out you really need to stay to the diet everyday. I could easily caption this with something helpful, motivational, whatever.. Put up a fasade of how great I'm feeling or how well I'm doing in my deficit.
But the truth is - I am struggling.
Fat loss in theory is simple.
Create a calorie deficit and in time you'll see results.
But it ain't easy just because it's simple.
It's far more than just a physical challenge. It tests your willpower, your determination, your faith, your trust.
It allows you to question your capabilities, your strength and even the facts of science.
It can fuck you up thoroughly.
Just don't let it win.
I'm 25 days in out of 90, and my mind has taken a severe beating several times as I find myself not as consistent as I used to be.
I'm not here to say I've found the solution or I finally see the light.
All I want to say is that I chose to deal with it.
Because I won't let self-doubt win this time.
And if you're struggling too and fucking angry, you're not alone.

While it is true that the difference in calorie count of regular and diet soda is incomparable, there is something that makes these 'healthier' drinks even worse for your health, and it's known as 'artificial sweeteners'. Acesulfame K and Aspartame are found in virtually ever artificially sweetened product and both of these are more than a few hundred times more potent than sugar. They are also much more potent at stimulating the insulin production, as the spikes in blood glucose induced by sucrose is lower than that of the spike induced by artificial sweeteners.
