Some places that you come to leave you dumbfounded by the scenery. Thinking about where you are at the moment. As present as it gets. Everything else happening in your life seems to diminish as you stare and relish the moment. These are the places that gives me the most amount of joy.

You'd think sometime we’d learn the one you love is the one that should take you higher...

As the desert temps start to rise 🌡, did you ever wonder how the Saguaro 🌵 survive?
“The saguaro is adapted to make the most of every drop of rain. It has a single deep taproot—the rest of its roots grow close to the surface of the ground in order to absorb as much water as possible before it evaporates.” Cool! 😎 (tpl.org)
Witnessing the sun coming into the canyon and bursting with the most golden light is quite the thrill. Hiking down to the Colorado River makes it even more incredible. So glad @uniqueartlife asked me to hike down and back in one day which is a 22 mile hike and 5K feet of elevation. Making this one hell of a day.
Oh if you look closely you can see the trail we took 🤘🏼
