I often get a bit nervous before I travel anywhere but today I'm really anxious, im scared and anxious and have packed and unpacked several times. I know I'll be ok because I've travelled alone before and this time I'm going to France (where I've already been) and Barcelona. Everything is sorted, planned and thought out so I dont get anxious but yet here I am - really really worried.
I'm very self aware, and often battle with things no one knows about that most people would fall apart with so it annoys me when this happens because I know I'm better and stronger than this.
This could not be more accurate. 4am and I'm currently in bed, super heavy period, fighting back tears, curled up in a ball, feeling like my right ovary is just going to burst, lower back spasms, horrendous cramps and super dizzy. Periods suck. Endometriosis suck.

We enjoyed this beautiful practise with lovely Letty last wk to help balance the Throat Energy Chakra
The energy of the throat chakra starts in the center of the neck & throat & expands through the shoulders.
So if you are prone to holding stress or tension in this area, you suffer throat infections or your voice is struggling it’s very likely you’re experiencing a blockage or imbalance in this area. The Throat Chakra is associated with speaking your authentic voice (the truth) & helps to improve your ability to communicate or articulate your true feelings.
If you wish to stay true to yourself & want to improve your communication & listening skills, it’s so important that you open & balance this chakra. ✨

More connection to nature = less anxiety.
How is your mood affected by spending time in nature?
In 2014 Patricia Martin and Eric Brymer conducted a study that investigated the relationship between anxiety and feeling connected to nature. The results indicated that
connection to nature was significantly related to lower levels of anxiety. The results revealed seven themes: relaxation, time out, enjoyment, connection, expanse,
sensory engagement and a healthy perspective.
"Depression is a disease of civilization"
In this Ted Talk Professor Stephen Ilardi shares his research in which he has found that many diseases like depression, obesity and diabetes that are common today can be linked to our modern lifestyle.
He lists some factors in the lifestyle of aboriginal people, which are not present to the same extent in our modern lifestyle, which seems to protect them from some of theese illnesses.
Based on his findings he has developed a program called TLC (Therapeutic Lifestyle Change) which in small manageable steps aims to allow us to reclaim theese protective lifestyle elements, which he claims could help protect us from diseases like clinical depression.

Hi y’all, I just wanna let you know how I’m feeling because I’m really sad. There’s this guy I like and we both liked each other last year but I couldn’t go out with him because of what I had been through and I wasn’t ready for a relationship. And I thought I was okay with just being friends and I went to college and everything was fine, but seeing him again recently idk made me change my mind and I realized I still have feelings for him and I think I love him. I even broke up with my current boyfriend just so I could ask this other guy out and he told me we could talk about it over the summer when I come home but I’m just so scared I missed my chance to be with him and I miss him so much. But overall I have a lot going on and I feel really depressed and I’m scared I’m gonna relapse and cut myself 🥺
