  • I recently started listening to The Secular Buddhist Podcast @secularbuddhism and it really has made me think of topics that I have thought of in the past and have believed, but haven’t been thinking about as much lately. It also has opened my eyes to some other things that I have not thought of. I continually try to be in the present moment by practicing meditation, giving the person I’m with my attention, amongst other things. Listening to this podcast has brought me more to this present moment. I believe that realizing our impermanence makes me appreciate what I have right now. He told a story of how he was talking to his friend who was very sick and asked him how it feels like to be dying. The friend responded “I don’t know, you tell me.” Because it so can happen that he can die before his friend. We have no idea of when we will pass. (I’m paraphrasing what was said.) I feel that this lesson that has been brought to me over and over is so important. It makes me feel grateful for what I have now. ✨ Collaboration with @wild_creative_heart I recently started listening to The Secular Buddhist Podcast @secularbuddhism and it really has made me think of topics that I have thought of in the past and have believed, but haven’t been thinking about as much lately.
