Aston Martin DB4 Zagato (1960-1962)
Aston Martin began its long-running partnership with Italian design house Zagato in 1960 with the stunning DB4 GT Zagato. Lighter, smaller and more streamlined than the standard DB4, the GT Zagato proved itself to be a great race car, but it was the looks that made it an icon.
Few Aston Martins contribute much to the trophy cabinet, but fewer still have been raced by two-times F1 world champion Jim Clark and also by F1 world champion Denny Hulme, which in part contributes to this old car's mystique.
The Aston Martin DB4 Zagota looks fabulous with its beautiful aluminium-formed coachwork and innovative forward-folding bonnet. The all-aluminum bodywork was hand finished and made to the highest standards. The DB4 GT Zagatos got a 240-hp, 3.8-liter twin-plug straight-six and a four-speed manual.
