Cupping Massage ☕️
Did you know I perform Cupping Massage?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This can be done with either plastic cups, that stay in a stationary position for a period of time. I also use silicon cups that I can move around while I massage that leave minimal marks. The picture above is of a silicon cup being dragged along the clients back.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Both forms of Cupping Massage:
> promote relaxation and healing.
> increase blood circulation and range of motion.
> decrease fascial restrictions and muscle tension.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cupping Marks also do not last forever! They heal and disappear usually within 1-7 days.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One body. One life.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Vitamin A (as beta-carotene)
Beta carotene is an antioxidant that converts to #vitamina and plays a very important role in health. It’s responsible for the red, yellow, and orange coloration of some #fruits and #veggies.
#antioxidants such as #betacarotene play crucial roles in the body’s fight against #freeradicals.
• Improving cognitive function
• Promoting good skin health
• Contributing to lung health
• Reducing macular degeneration
• Preventing cancer
Beta carotene is predominately found in fruits and veggies with a red, orange, or yellow colour. However, don’t shy away from dark leafy greens or other green veggies, as they contain a good amount of this antioxidant as well.
Foods highest in beta carotene include: • carrots
• sweet potatoes
• dark leafy greens, such as kale and spinach
• romaine lettuce
• red and yellow peppers
Eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables is the best way to increase your beta carotene intake and prevent disease.
You can get enough beta carotene through your food but if you don't, consider a high quality #supplement. #pickering#ajax#oshawa#whitby#newcastle#durhamregion#the6ix#toronto#ontario#canada#herculeanliving
