  • We are all becoming!
As this much needed long #easter #weekend is coming to an end, is a good time to #reflect on your own path, your own #life. For this, you need to take time within yourself and let you see the real person inside you. Do you like what you are? You like your story? .
Remember that we only live once and, unless you reincarnate in the #future, time won’t be merciful with you. Stop doing #shit just because everyone else is doing them. Stop being with people that don’t #support you or don’t #deserve your time and #attention. Filter away those who only are around you when there’s a party or that you know that the second shit gets #hard, they will leave you #alone. .
Those don’t really care about you at all. Focus on building relationships with people that just see you for who you truly are, irrespective of how or where you live, how fancy or simple your home is, what you do for a living, or how much status you have.
Those things don’t matter!!!
.
Give a chance also to those personas that at first, seem to be very different from you. Sometimes, #diversity is the most precious thing ever to human relationships, of any kind. Never #judge someone for his country of origin or ethnic group, or even how they look. We are all precious and #beautiful and we all deserve to be #acknowledged, #respected and #loved.
.
For me, this philosophy has taken a toll on friendships, as I set the bar higher. I’m not friends with superficial, judgy, rude, and envious people. But I have gained much more #peace and #appreciation for true real friends and relationships. Having a few true friends, wherever they are, is enough for me. No matter the distance from each other. True #love and #friendship always endures in our hearts.
.
I look forward to the future and I’m glad to have followed the pains and turbulences that life has been bringing me. What doesn’t kill you, truly makes you stronger. .
Reading @michelleobama Becoming book has been a great investment in time for me, for I have learned that no matter where you come from, you can always become somebody you can be truly happy and proud of. I dare you to become the best version of you. Happy Easter!! 🎉🐰 We are all becoming! • #Mohammad_Mosaddegh ( 16 June 1882 – 5 March 1967) was the 35th prime minister of #Iran, holding office from 1951 until 1953, when his government was overthrown in a #coup_d'état orchestrated by the #United_States' Central Intelligence Agency and the #United_Kingdom's MI6.
An #author, #administrator, #lawyer and #prominent parliamentarian, his administration introduced a range of social and political measures such as social security, land reforms and higher taxes including the introduction of taxation of the rent on land. His government's most significant policy, however, was the #nationalization of the #Iranian #oil_industry, which had been built by the British on Persian lands since 1913 through the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC/AIOC) (later British Petroleum and BP).
Many Iranians regard Mosaddegh as the leading champion of secular democracy and resistance to foreign domination in Iran's modern history. Following an initial, failed coup attempt by the CIA/MI6-backed General Fazlollah Zahedi, Mosaddegh was successfully deposed four days later on 19 August 1953, with #Zahedi succeeding him as prime minister. While the coup is at times referred to in the West as #Operation #Ajax after its #CIA cryptonym, in Iran it is referred to as the 28 Mordad 1332 Coup d'état, after its date on the Iranian calendar. Mosaddegh was imprisoned for three years, then put under house arrest until his death and was buried in his own home so as to prevent a political furor. In 2013, the U.S. government formally #acknowledged the #U.S. #role in the coup, as a part of its foreign policy initiatives. #mohammad_mosaddegh ( 16 June 1882 – 5 March 1967) was the 35th prime minister of #iran, holding office from 1951 until 1953, when his government was overthrown in a #coup_d'état orchestrated by the #united_states' Central Intelligence Agency and the #united_kingdom's MI6.
