  • E A T  P L A N T F O O D| I have been mostly plant-based for over a decade, and I have seen such a major shift in my health, mood, and lifestyle since. It’s been a long mission to educate myself, and my family about the importance of eating plant/veggies as a way to prevent illness and also help the planet. 🌎

When I’m home, I love to cook and I love all the recipes my fam Marco has in his new book @greenprintproject, they are easy to make and absolutely delicious!   • OH HELLO AGAIN| … so, I’ve been on a serious writing deadline, and in the middle of it, trying to organize + prioritize. Anyone else out there feeling like..

“Wait?.. it’s February already?”🙀 or is it just me?… .
.
I’ve been taking the last few weeks to really take an inventory on the things in my life that I want to spend my time doing, and of course I watched the entire season of @mariekondo “the art of tidying up”🧹… so I had a lot of ‘purging’ to do so to speak. .
.
It’s been really nice, and at time’s not so nice, I realize it’s important to invest time doing ‘nothing’ and allowing that space to just rest/read/write. But now that I feel like my normal self again. It’s back to that work life. 🔬 I’m looking forward to seeing you all this year! and to finally share my 3 year project with you all! #finally, it involves Yoga, Meditation and some awesome Life-Tools 📿🔮🗝

  • G R O U N D E D| When I was a teenager I suffered from debilitating panic attacks. I was on medication for a long period of time before I was able to get off of it in my early twenties. I began going to a naturopath and remember her giving me this grounding technique that changed everything, and with the ‘official’ start to my year {2/01} lol.. I figured I needed it. 
Here’s the Technique: •••
You’re walking barefoot on the beach.
•••
Feel the warmth of the sun contacting your skin. Listen to the rhythm of the crashing waves. Smell the ocean wind as it brushes through you.

Now, notice your feet. Do you feel a tingly sensation in your feet or legs as a warmth rises up your body?
•••
Perhaps you’ve noticed a similar feeling while walking barefoot on the grass. In those moments, you are grounded. It’s one reason many people are drawn to the ocean.
Being grounded can mean two things:
1. Being fully present in your body and/or
2. Feeling connected to the earth.
