I basically found the painting from the Olivia children’s book that I grew up reading and a nearly started crying when I saw it. My mom gave me the entire Olivia the pig book series when I was younger, a couple puzzles, and even a little doll set. I read the books and played with the puzzles probably hundreds of times.. Seeing this in person brought back so many childhood memories for me, and made this trip to the moma so much more personal than any other museum I’ve ever been to. I feel like a complete human being after this trip, lol.
Day1 of Newyork🏙
Don’t worry I’m just as confused as you.
I wish I could explain these images. They were taken at 2am during the week for no apparent reason other than @melobrienn feeling inspired. The pig was my decision though. We collaborated. P.S enjoy the spotted nightie. #artistsoninstagram
No filter can hide my full-on blush from embarrassment when I shamelessly took this selfie in front of a gazillion ppl... but, GOGH big or GOGH home right? 🤷🏻♀️🎨😂👩🏻🎨 I did find the crowds super amusing tho lol, even took a photo with the guard who did too lolol. And WAIT, don’t even get me started about my reaction when I saw that Monet（ ｉ ̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω ｉ ）💭 #dreamy.. always have the best time at museums!! Spent 3++ hours here 🤗😄😌
p.s. s/o to @uniqlo for Uniqlo Free Fridays at MoMA 🖤 wooooo
