“Take my hand, come walk through Country.” 🤝
We are grateful to have Kellie Hunter and Ian Goolagong join us in Garden Square for a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. Listen to their powerful words as we observe National Reconciliation Week. #nrw2019#groundedintruth#walktogether2019
Throwback to June last year with @niallhoran (and my pal @jessihealey)
The former one direction star brought his debut solo tour to Australia last year and we couldn’t say no to a night at Hisense Arena with this Irish Stud ☘️ The mix of his new songs from his album Flicker and a few 1D classics was the perfect mid exam season distraction that stirred up those One Direction obsessed days (Hence the overly excited filming.)
** Definitely not a shoutout to the obnoxious clapper in front 🙄🙄
Controversial question of the day... Who was your fav band member? 🙈 #niallhoran#onedirection#flickerworldtour#solocareer#directionerforever#hisensearena
Ever taken part in a traditional Indigenous smoking ceremony? Swipe left and immerse yourself in the ancient custom conducted today at Garden Square, thanks to the Buldau Yiooghen Academy 🔥 💨
The academy brings together community, cultural and sporting groups to support young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. They aim to help participants as they strive towards their educational, employment and leadership goals. Buldau Yioohgen, means “Big Dreams” in Wurundjeri language.

The Victorian Government is getting on with the $271.55 million Stage 3 redevelopment of Melbourne Park, with @lendlease appointed to manage delivery of the major project.
The redevelopment will ensure Melbourne Park remains a world-class sport and entertainment precinct, and guarantee the Australian Open remains in Melbourne until at least 2036.
