RepostBy @iamtonio1987: "I’ve always believed that there’s a lot more at play than just simple physical attraction when it comes to love and relationships. There’s a greater reason why people stay together longer and sometimes for eternity. For instance couples who’ve known each other all their lives and when one dies the other usually passes away shortly after. I think along the way we’ve forgotten that love is a deeper connection—and so we get ourselves into a lot of mess by pursuing our idyllic relationship with people who check off on certain criteria—instead of checking to make sure our soul is in tune with the other person. #soulfulattraction@iamtonio1987 ——————————————————————

VICTORY! After more than a decade of advocacy, New York has made the Child Victims Act law.
#jessicaslaw NOW HAS SEEN THIS MANY TIME HAPPENING THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES.
Child #sextrafficking in #arizona.
A Glendale woman is being charged with 18 felonies, and nearly half of them are child sex trafficking charges. She also is charged with multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. GLENDALE, AZ — Police say there was drug dealing, money laundering, and child #sextrafficking all happening inside one Glendale home. Tennessee Jackson is now charged with 18 felonies, nearly half of them are child sex trafficking charges. She also is charged with multiple counts of #sexualexploitation of a minor.
Police say she recruited teen girls and forced some of them to pose naked on Instagram.
The initial arrest took place on January 11. The DPS SWAT team raided Jackson's Glendale home for drugs. Investigators wrote that they had done multiple undercover buys in the month leading up to the bust. "We saw the police and we hear when they said 'Come out with your hands up,'" said one neighbor. Sexual assault survivors share powerful handwritten letters of self-love on #valentinesday https://buff.ly/2HF0gU6 #survivorloveletter#hopefulhorizons For many survivors of sexual violence, self-love is an essential part of the healing process — and a powerful hashtag campaign is helping them share their strength online.
#survivorloveletter encourages #survivors to flood social media with powerful handwritten love letters to themselves on Valentine's Day. With harrowing honesty, the campaign celebrates resilience in the face of trauma. This Valentine's Day marks the third year of the hashtag movement, created by director and artist Tani Ikeda in 2015. She was inspired to start the viral campaign after reflecting on the healing process of her own rape — the "anniversary" of which is on Valentine's Day. "#survivorloveletter is a call to survivors of sexual violence and our loved ones to publicly celebrate our lives," Ikeda writes on the project's Tumblr page. Valentine's Day can hold painful memories for some survivors of #sexualviolence. Nearly 1 in 10 women will survive rape by an intimate partner in her lifetime, meaning a day celebrating intimate relationships can be traumatic. To participate in the campaign, survivors of #sexualviolence can write a love letter to themselves and share it with the hashtag #survivorloveletter on Twitter, Tumblr or Instagram.
#survivors who want to participate anonymously can also submit their letters to the project's Tumblr, or email Ikeda at email@example.com.
For those who haven't experienced #sexualviolence themselves, the project invites them to write a letter honoring the resilience of survivors and use the hashtag to spread awareness.
If you have experienced #sexualabuse, call the free, confidential #nationalsexualassault hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673), or access the 24-7 help online by visiting online.rainn.org.

BULLYING ~ This poor boy could be left scarred for life in this unprovoked attack by bullies, and it's not the first time the 15 year old has been targeted. Just weeks earlier the youngster had been subjected to another terrifying assault when he was repeated punched for no reason by another #bully. #nathanieldryden, from Shelton Lock, Derbyshire, could be scarred for life after the unprovoked attack on February 6 which left him 'absolutely covered' in blood Derbyshire Police said it had been informed about the attack and officers were visiting the family. #childsupport . For the first time in Wyoming County's history, a man has been sentenced to state prison after violating his probation by failing to pay child support.
On Thursday, Shannon McDonald admitted that he violated probation after being convicted of first-degree non-support of a child in October.
After failing to abide by his probation requirements, McDonald was sentened to one to three years in New York State Prison.
Officials say the Department of Social Services has been trying to get McDonald to pay child support for years. He currently owes more than $214,000.
Previously, McDonald had been held in contempt of court 26 times for violating child support orders. He was also incarcerated through family court eight times. "My office almost never gets involved in the failure to pay child support," District Attorney Donald O'Geen said. "There is a system set up, through the family court, to hold people accountable for the willful failure to pay. That system did everything it could to make sure that the defendant paid his child support but, despite holding him in contempt and incarcerating him numerous times, it could not do so.”

The New York State DREAM Act passed, so what’s next for New York? Driver’s licenses to undocumented New Yorkers. Meet Dalila: Dalila is an undocumented mother of two U.S. citizen children living in New York. Dalila’s son has special needs that require 5-10 medical appointments a month and her daughter attends a school 15 minutes away from home, though this take Dalila 1.5 hours on the bus: “Getting to those have been very challenging but with access to a driver’s license would make my life and my children’s life much easier.”

South Carolina has never been out of the top ten deadliest states for domestic abuse. While legislation is in the works to empower more survivors, we are grateful for partners like the Fourteenth Circuit Solicitor's Office and the Victim Service Center. South Carolina ranks 6th most deadly state for #domesticabuse, per report
State lawmakers say there are multiple bills in the General Assembly to continue the fight against domestic abuse. #hopefulhorizons -- an organization that helps victims of #domesticviolence -- partnered with the Solicitor's Office in an ongoing effort to fight domestic violence in South Carolina.
The #domesticabuse Violence Advisory Committee released a report this week that ranks South Carolina with the sixth-worst rate of women murdered by men. "The [South Carolina] laws are really focused on physical violence. Physical threats of harm, but not necessarily as expansive to take into account all of the other forms of abuse like #emotionalabuse or #financialabuse CEO #kristindubrowski said in an interview Wednesday.
State Sen. Tom Davis, who represents Beaufort County in the South Carolina State Senate, says there are multiple bills in the Legislature that help redefine who is affected by domestic abuse. "They really only apply to #spousalrelationships and divorces, and in cases where people share a child," Davis said.

Here is the article that can change the discussion about shared parenting. How many deaths are caused by shared parenting. It is the question the other side cannot answer and are afraid of. And I include some of the all too many examples.
Four young children who appeared malnourished and were covered in fecal matter, including two locked in a dog kennel, were found at a Texas home, leading to the arrest of two adults on accusations of child endangerment.
The discovery was made Tuesday morning when the sheriff's office in Wise County near Dallas-Fort Worth was called to a property on a report of a domestic disturbance between AndrewFabila and PaigeHarkings.
Harkings is the mother of all four children, and Fabila is the father of one of them, NBC 5 reported. #domesticabuse#protectourchildren#childabuse
