  • @MirandaKerr is heavily involved in all aspects of @KoraOrganics: developing the products, writing all the copy for its packaging, and shooting every campaign that she’s not starring in. “And even then I art-direct the whole thing because I’m so specific,” she tells @Alison_Syrett. “I’ll be like, ‘Stand here, do this,’ set the shot up, and step in.” It took years and endless prototypes to launch Kora, in part because she was determined to meet Ecocert’s Cosmos standards, a strict set of regulations on production and ingredients. “A lot of products out there claim to be all-natural but have only one organic ingredient. I didn’t want any of that greenwashing BS! It takes a lot of effort and money to get certified, but I thought, ‘If this is something I want for myself, why wouldn’t I offer it to everyone else?’” More from the supermodel and entrepreneur at the link in bio. | Photographed by @alexandersaladrigas; Styled by @seanknight

  • “There are very few houses led by women, and I think that’s unfortunate,” Laura Mulleavy of @Rodarte says. “The few women I see in those positions worked really long and hard to get there, and I don’t see that with our male counterparts. Someone does one cool collection as a young male designer and they are in a house. We can all leave that to our imaginations as to why that is.” Once a bit shy, @KateAndLauraMulleavy now come across as assertive and clear-headed when talking about their vision for Rodarte. And they aren’t afraid to call out the industry’s long-standing gender imbalance in design rooms, which have been dominated by men since at least the 1950s. Following their fall 2019 presentation at @TheHuntingtonLibrary, @EricWilsonSays spoke with the Mulleavys about working closely together, the industry, and how their designs have changed — and @Rodarte fans, including @ShaileneWoodley, @DakotaFanning, and @RowanBlanchard, weighed in. • With their darkly romantic designs, @KateAndLauraMulleavy have created a loyal sisterhood. They have impeccable references, with a fan base that includes Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Portman, and the Fanning sisters, among many others. “I’m not sure I’ve met any two more authentic women in the fashion industry,” @ShaileneWoodley tells @EricWilsonSays in our April issue. @DakotaFanning has equally glowing things to say about the Mulleavys: “My sister and I have always been able to relate to Kate and Laura in a special way because the four of us understand the power of a sisterly bond.” Read more about the forces behind @Rodarte at the link in bio. | Photographed by @AmyHarrity; Styled by @GenaTuso

  • Florals for spring, but make it groundbreaking. To celebrate the first day of the season, we're probably wearing this look. For @MaisonValentino's couture show, each floral lash was hand cut and dyed, taking over 80 hours to make. 🌸 #FirstDayofSpring
