@the_red_post - Liverpool’s power and Anfield;'s influence have underpinned Liverpool’s European journey this season and influenced victories over Paris Saint-Germain, Red Star Belgrade, Napoli and FC Porto – as well as the Barcelona comeback – this term.
Improvements away from home have been vital too, however, and the boss cites the 3-1 win at Bayern in the last 16 as a benchmark display in the team’s development.
“In Germany we have a saying: ‘All the best things come in threes’,” said Klopp.
“At Mainz, I missed promotion twice and we got promoted in the third season. We hope that it will repeat itself for the Champions League. I think it’s quite cool, to be honest.
It’s a fourth European final for me [including the 2016 Europa League], that’s cool. I have had good teams and the players have gone beyond their limits in order to qualify. Throughout the years, we’ve knocked out strong sides like Borussia Dortmund thanks to Anfield.
Last season in the Champions League we knocked out a strong Manchester City thanks to Anfield. This year we knocked out Barcelona thanks to Anfield, and of course we beat Bayern. We know that we’ve managed to achieve all that together.
Anfield is a crucial factor for us in Europe, but the boys have done a great job, we’ve played great football. The away game at Bayern Munich was the best away game my team have played at the European level. It is great to see that such a development is possible and that we can become even more dominant.
So far, it’s been a great campaign for us.”

@the_red_post - Naby Keita is a surprise inclusion in Liverpool's 26-man squad for their training camp in Marbella.
The Guinea midfielder, who is currently sidelined by a groin injury, travelled with his team-mates to Spain on Monday.
Jurgen Klopp wants to keep Keita involved and he will continue his rehabilitation programme away from the main squad with the club's fitness coaches this week.
The £52.75million signing from RB Leipzig is ahead of schedule after initially being ruled out for “at least two months” by Klopp after he limped off in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona three weeks ago. A scan revealed that he had ruptured a tendon.
Guinea boss Paul Put, who is desperate to have Keita available for June's Africa Cup of Nations tournament, was quoted over the weekend as saying that the 24-year-old would be back fit in the next fortnight and could even make the Reds squad for the Champions League final against Tottenham on June 1.
Liverpool insist it's too early to say whether that is realistic and will continue to monitor him closely.
The Reds will spend the next six days in Spain preparing for the showdown with Spurs. Youngsters Rhian Brewster , Curtis Jones and Ben Woodburn have all travelled.
Liverpool's 26-man training camp squad: Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Brewster, Fabinho, Firmino, Gomez, Henderson, Jones, Keita, Kelleher, Lallana, Lovren, Mane, Matip, Mignolet, Milner, Moreno, Origi, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Robertson, Salah, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Woodburn.

@the_red_post - Gareth Southgate has claimed the Nations League Finals came too soon for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to earn an England recall but insisted “he’s very much in our thoughts for next season”.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has spent almost the entirety of this season in recovery – and suffered minor hamstring injury setbacks as he rebuilt his fitness - but made his long-awaited return in two substitute appearances totalling 19 minutes against Huddersfield and Wolves.
The midfielder is now hopeful of playing a role in Liverpool’s Champions League Final against Tottenham but despite his availability and the need to select an expanded England squad to guard against the potential for injury setbacks elsewhere, Southgate felt Oxlade-Chamberlain needed more game-time at club level.
“I think when you are recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury, you need a period of time to get into more starts, more 90 minutes under his belt and it’s an important thing for him that he’s managed to get some minutes at Liverpool,” he said. “But I think a good pre-season… because what’s happened with him, a couple of minor hamstring injuries, is classic when you’ve been out with a long-term injury. We shouldn’t be risking him in our games at this stage of his recovery from a serious injury. But he’s very much in our thoughts for next season.”
@the_red_post - Guinea expect Naby Keita to be fit for the Africa Cup of Nations - and claim the Liverpool midfielder could even be available for the Champions League final.
Keita has been sidelined since suffering an adductor injury when caught by Barcelona's Ivan Rakitic during the Champions League semi-final at Camp Nou on May 1.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp later revealed the tendon had been ruptured with the player expected to be sidelined for at least two months, ruling him out of the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, which starts on June 21.
But Guinea national team coach Paul Put are confident Keita will be available for the Africa Cup of Nations and believe he could even be fit for Liverpool's Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid on June 1.
"He consulted his doctor in Switzerland, as I said at the beginning," said Put.
"He is in treatment with his doctor. He has started on the bike there (in Liverpool) and it is said that he will maybe in two weeks resume with the squad.
It is even possible that he is in the squad for the Champions League final, if what I have been told is true. We will see.
We will wait and remain realistic. This is not the time to scream or panic. We have to wait and see how it goes."
Guinea open their Africa Cup of Nations campaign against Madagascar on June 22. They also face Nigeria and Burundi in the group stage.

@kalashniklove - Pepe Reina on Liverpool: "I'm probably the No.1 fan. I watch them whenever I can. It's home. I was there 8 years, nine with the season I was on loan with Napoli. I consider Liverpool my home and it will always be like that. It's what they say; once a Red, always a Red." 🔴😍 #lfc#ynwa
@the_red_post - Liverpool are reportedly planning for life without Simon Mignolet after the agent of Ugurcan Cakir confirmed the Reds are interested in his client.
The 23-year-old has impressed for Trabzonspor this season and has recently earned a call-up to the Turkey national team.
Under contract until 2021, the shot-stopper is said to be available for just £4.5million.
And, speaking to Turkish publication Ajansspor, agent Erdi Kirkpinar has confirmed he has held talks with Anfield officials.
“Every team have scouts and some of them are following Ugurcan’s matches. Schalke haven’t made an official offer for him.
I know Lille and Schalke are following him. Liverpool are also interested in him. Liverpool officials have talked with us, we had some contacts, but no official offer has come from them.”
@the_red_post - Liverpool could lose Steven Gerrard’s cousin Bobby Duncan with the 17-year-old concerned over his pathway into first team, according to the Daily Mail.
It is written:" Liverpool face losing academy starlet Bobby Duncan due to concerns over his pathway into the first team.
The-17-year-old - who is Steven Gerrard’s cousin - has set the Anfield academy alight since his arrival from Manchester City last summer.
But Duncan is growing deeply concerned about his chances of breaking into Jurgen Klopp’s senior set up.
Duncan has scored 32 goals for the Reds academy this season, but despite his prolific strike rate the teenager has remained mainly with the Under 18s.
And with academy products Rhian Brewster and Rafa Camacho ahead of Duncan in the pecking order for attacking positions in the first team squad, the youngster is finding it difficult to see a route into Klopp’s plans.
A number of clubs for England and abroad are aware of the issues and will monitor the situation over the summer.
Duncan, it is understood, would consider a move abroad."
@the_red_post - Trent Alexander-Arnold's assist for Sadio Mane in the 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday was his 12th in the top flight, a record for a defender in a single Premier League campaign.
The England international now has 16 in all competitions, three more than fellow Reds full-back Andy Robertson with whom there has been a friendly rivalry over who creates the most goals this season.
"It's something that obviously we're both really proud of," said Alexander-Arnold.
"I think we've pushed each other massively this season and it's really helped us.
Even though its called a competition, it's not really a competition. If one of us is maybe about to cross, the other isn't hoping that it's a bad cross or that we don't score from it!
It's more that we just keep pushing each other to get better and better and to keep providing for the team.
I think that to provide 20-odd goals for your team is something we can both be proud of."
